Too many hard hats were blowing off of heads when a gust of wind hit the piers, and the hard hats ended up in the river never to be seen again. So, management now requires we use chin straps for our hat hats - and if we lose a hard hat - we will pay for a new one. To my surprise this adjustable elastic chin strap is comfortable, light weight, and easy to adjust in place and use. Just make sure your hard hat has the correct hook holes to allow installation of this chin strap.

I bought this for an old hard hat I had, but the chin strap was missing. This strap fit perfect and works well.

It serves its purpose and works as expected but sometimes it slips out of the hook hole.

Used this chip strap to keep hard hat on during high winds. Works perfect. Recommend verily highly.

I would consider this an “emergency” option. The band is narrow and not very comfortable.
