2-1/2" All Purpose Flooring Knife

This is a solid tool not just for flooring but so many other applications. The blade has stayed pretty sharp and the quality of the knife is great. I pretty much use this for opening boxes, taking off baseboard or carpet all the way up to cutting underneath trim. I would definitely recommend adding to your tool arsenal.

Good "knife" for close to the ground trimming of Bird of Paradise stalks. As it's a rather lethal blade, I wish it came with a holding pouch.

Works just like it's supposed to. Good investment if you're tearing out carpet

I didnt know I had to sharpen it before use. The cutting side is as thick and dull as the entire blade. I work with it on the stone and three different sharpeners and it still isn't very sharp. How can I cut vinyl?

Used to help cut/rip up carpet, separate caulked baseboards, open Amazon packages... everything. Great little dooodad to have on hand.

Is just as expected... was a replacement for my old one.. and it’s better made.

It's a piece of junk!I ended up using a 15 year old cheap steak knife to cut a damaged rug. It cut 2 feet in the time this supposed flooring/carpet knife took to cut 6 inches.I used a flooring knife years ago to remove carpet in an entire 2 bedroom apartment. That one cut with ease. I expected this to cut similarly. Boy was I wrong. Do not buy this knife!
