I went ahead and bought this as I was deciding on a portable air conditioner or a swamp cooler since those were my only options to cool my very hot room. I took my chance and coughed up more money for this portable air conditioner. The unit was packaged nicely. It came with a slight bend on the outside of the box, but nothing was damaged on the inside.It takes up around 3 feet of space for me since the tube to the outside isn't flexible and I had to position it awkwardly in my limited space. There are no buttons you can press on the unit to change the settings, so try not to loose your controller. I appreciate that it has a low or high setting for the fans. In terms of noisiness, I would say it's okay. The noise level doesn't bother me when I sleep or do anything in the room.So far, in the week that I've had it, it has cooled very nicely in what was a very hot room. I have not used the dehumidifier option, nor will I plan to.The only problem that I may encounter would be removing the filter since it's in the back and removing the water that may accumulate(?) I honestly don't know how that works but I will update this review as time goes on.TLDR: It's worth it, it cools, it's good so far, the noise is acceptable, and try not to loose the controller.

Haven’t used it yet but it has Great Reviews…believe me I shopped around before deciding on this one! As per the reviews It sounds like it gets very cold which is needed where I live. This unit has better reviews than LG, Frigidaire and some others. Price was right for the size/BTU’s (10,000) compared to the others as well. I’ll be back to let you know how good it is after I’ve used it. I’m confident I won’t be disappointed. Oh also if memory serves me this unit weighs 53 lbs. but it has Rollie wheels. Instillation should be quite easy. It comes in a box (that it’s still in) that’s about 3 ft tall by 13 inches square. It seems to be a nice size unit with great cooling capacity. I’m happy with my purchase so far. I’ll be back with my real review.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this unit for about a week. I live in an older 2 story townhome that gets exceptionally hot upstairs in the spring and summer. Instead of keeping the whole house 10 degrees colder than I’d prefer just to keep the upstairs comfortable, I thought this ac unit would help.Once I got it set up, it was great! It is very heavy and difficult to get upstairs. The window adapter is great for windows that open side-to-side but not as much for windows that open up/down. In my video you’ll see that I had to use a large, thick chunk of hard styrofoam to fill in the gap from the window adapter. It comes with a second panel that fits into the first and slides to fit the window size; however, the first panel wasn’t big enough for my window size and, with the second panel in place, it was too large and ended up blocking about half of the vent opening. If you have a saw, you can cut it to the correct size. I did not have a saw and didn’t want to buy one solely for this purpose. The styrofoam chunk worked great for me. I also used a lot of duct tape to completely seal the window and the vent opening. I highly recommend sealing the gaps or else your electric bill will likely be sky high.The unit quickly blows out ice cold air at a relatively quiet level. It cools the room down very fast and I’ve already spent some time just sitting in front of it on hot days.I can’t speak to the remote control because I’m generally right next to the unit and was too lazy to go out and buy batteries so I haven’t tried it.I’ll be sure to update my review if I have any issues.

After reading so many review, I wasn't sure about this product, but so far so good, very easy to set up, I don't find it noisy at all, cooled down my son room right away and he has a lot of gaming equipment in his room which makes it very hot, he has set it a 60 every night and its very cold in his room, I have even found it has cooled down my hall way, price was great , I saw everyone write about the plastic piece for the window that hold the hose I just cut my with a knife not a big deal and there is a little spacing issues but an easy fix, I would definitely recommend out to others

Works really well for my bedroom. Just make sure you have a Drain bucket for the condensation drip from the AC

The best part about it the humidifier on there.

The instructions are awful. They leave out what to do with parts like COMPLETELY and the thing is leaking water (or SOME FLUID) alllll throughout my rug so I can’t even use the AC and it’s all I have! There’s parts I don’t know what to do with and I have no money to buy another AC and I have a 6 month old baby! My rug is SOAKED. I followed the instructions THROUGH AND THROUGH and every drain is shut that is visible so I don’t know why something is POURING OUT when I turn it on! DO NOT BUY!!! It has all over the box “if you have any problems and we hope you won’t, call this number for great service” … I feel like they purposely leave shot out just so you have to pay for their service!!! DO NOT BUY ITS A HOAXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!! They ripped this single mom off and now I do not know what to do! It probably cost money to return it so… idk just please don’t buy it. I don’t want anyone else getting ripped off by these people… there’s not a single name for the company on ANY PART OF THIS! Not the ac, no the manual, not the box, and the name on Amazon? Not even a real product or company so I can’t even look up how to fix it online or anything! They make it so it does NOT work and you HAVE to pay them! It’s FRAUD A HOAX DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOTTTT BUY THIS!!!! DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could give ZERO stars…. They don’t deserve a single star. We didn't even plug-in this unit. Upon opening the package the instruction booklet said wait 24 hours before attempting to use the air-conditioner. As we read we saw that this unit has several fire hazard warnings. One is that the unit cannot be in direct sunlight. Since we need it for the SUNROOM, we had to return it. Those warnings should be along with the online description.
