Just the right amount of light.
My husband loves these for his desk and honestly, they look great! They add the perfect amount of RGB for his desk and it makes him happy. We love that we can have the lights off in the bedroom and it lights the room up perfectly.

Razer knows Gaming
These reversible dual lighting bars are a fantastic upgrade for any gaming room. I love how you can easily switch the lights to face your PC setup for immersive effects during intense gaming sessions, or turn them around to project colorful ambience onto the walls when you just want to chill or show off your room to friends. you can tweak the colors on each bar individually, so your gaming room can match your mood, your favorite game, or even sync with other Razer Chroma RGB gear. If you twitch your gaming sessions these light can be amazing use of ambient lighting as well. One of my favorite things is how clean my setup looks now. With just a single USB-C cable powering everything, there’s no mess of cords or bulky adapters cluttering up my desk. The bars works well with the Razer Gamer Room app, letting me easily adjust settings or set up routines for movie nights. They are also Matter compatible, they play nicely with the rest of my smart home gear.

Not recognized by the Razer Synapse application.
These lights look great, but their functionality is limited by their incompatibility with the Razer Synapse PC app. They're supposedly compatible with the Raze Gamer Room mobile app, but that app's QR code reader doesn't recognize QR codes and these lights don't appear to be Bluetooth compatible. These lights are hardware-ready for PC use, as they have a USB-C power cord. Ironically, their digital functionality seems geared to mobile use. Hopefully, Razer will someday release a patch/update to allow the Synapse app to recognize these lights.

Nice Dual Sided Glow
These light bars cast a really nice glow, shining from both the front and back. Setting them up was simple, just one USB C cord needed. You can tweak each bar's colors independently, which is a cool feature for customizing your setup. The RGB lighting itself is quite vivid.

Pairing issues
These lights would be nice in theory but I've had pairing issues. I've used all types of smart systems, such as Nest, Alexa, SmartThings, Tapo, Matter, etc. and these lights so far are the only electronics that I failed to pair with my phone.Without pairing the lights are difficult to customize, so it works as a single color light by the button. I kept two stars because the lights are well diffused and the size is good.

Razer knows how to do RGB
The Razer Aether standing light bars are awesome! They're amazingly bright, and the colors are super saturated! Setting them up was really easy. You just pop the bars into their bases, plug them in, and pair them to the app.One thing I really appreciate about these light bars is the physical button on the back. Having to open an app to control everything can be annoying, so I love that I can easily turn it on, off, and cycle through colors/modes with the physical switch. The quality is great! You can really tell they used premium LEDS for these light bars. The colors are super vibrant and saturated, and in "color wave" mode, the colors flow so smoothly and seamlessly that you might think they managed to stuff an actual rainbow in there.

Glorious RGB for your computer room!
Razer Aether has transformed my room from a bland white room to a vibrant play space for games and movies! I was able to easily setup Aether with my smartphone and connect it to Razer Chroma on my PC to sync up with my games and movies to give a nice theater-like feel to my setup, it is able to be configured such that it uses the edge of the displays or TV to give a splash of color from the content you are displaying onto the backsplash of your monitor/TV. It really brightens up your space and makes it feel more alive! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to add more vibrant color and life to their play-space!

Bright colors, easy to set up and use
These Razer lights work great to add colors and some light to an otherwise dull room. The lights are very easy to set up and to use. Take everything out of the box, and simply press the lights into the bases. Nothing to screw together. They operate via USB-C, so they can easily allow the lighting to operate with a computer (or similar to a TV or anything else with a USB-C port). The USB cables are black, and long enough overall to be located around a computer/monitors setup. They provide a good amount of light (seems like a little more light output as compared to other computer gaming lights that I have). This is great for bouncing light off of walls and into a room. The appearance is a little more basic than my some other lights though. So it really depends on what you want the lights to do, and the aesthetic you are after. As for control of the lights, there is a button at the back of the light that allows you to turn them on/off (short press) or to cycle thru the various colors, or even color shifting up/down (long press). There is no standalone way for changing brightness. If you are looking to add colored LED lights in a gaming area, with ambient light bouncing off of walls this would be a great option. So far they are holding up great and being powered via USB-C makes it easy to power.
