Had a similar design and the only difference being my old one did not have a latch.The problem with old was unlocking from inside, most guests did not know that they had to press the button, but instead they used turn the lever and it used to get stuck and it was difficult to get it back.So this unit is perfect and even my baby handles it well, battery life is good.The setup was easy and had to reset it once due to some mistake I did and it was easy, given in the book.Obvious lock/ unlock methods - fingerprint, app, key, smart key and I have not yet tried the apple app unlock but looks cool if it works.Overall solid quality and great looking lock.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would! Just terrible. Received it a month ago, and we’ve replaced the batteries 4 times because it keeps telling us “system failure” and “low battery.” But on the app, it shows the battery life is 100%. Which causes it to not be able to be locked or unlocked. It doesn’t show the history, so I can’t see if the kids actually locked the door while heading to the bus stop. Waste of money. Don’t purchase, and look somewhere else for a better lock!

Easy to install, and easy to use. I like that it functions with my phone too. I was looking for an affordable home smart door lock and I am happy with this purchase.
