This is an amazing keyboard especially for the price. What can you say? Full sized keys, metal build, function row (this is huge), rubber feet for support and connection for up to 4(!) devices? It’s an insanely good product at an excellent price.In doing some YouTube research everybody seems to think the original BK05 was perfect with two exceptions: USB Micro and the RGB keyboard lights had to be turned off physically every time you used the board. This model has correct both of those issues! Plus I love that they don’t have the full brand name on the space bar like iClever puts on their newer models (don’t love looking at a brand name while working).I got this because I can’t stand the idea of using a keyboard case that fits on my iPad, I love the slim folio cases too much. I also rotate between three different iPads daily so having one keyboard that folds up and goes into a bag and works with any of them at a snap is massive.I checked out the BK08 but this is the way, the smaller keys are distracting to type on. I also haven’t seen this mentioned, the scrolling while using arrows on web pages is excellent. Portability is incredible, ease of use is phenomenal. Crazy battery life. What more do you want for this price?

I had an older BK03 that finally died. That one finally wore out, after much bouncing around and travel. The BK05 open up to an almost full sized QWERTY keyboard, sans the numerical pad. Does what a keyboard is supposed to do.

***Update to add that it also works flawlessly with an iPad.Works with a wired connection!!! And folds and unfolds perfectly.Bluetooth connection also works perfectly.I'm using it with a Samsung phone to type this.It feels like using a laptop - but so much smaller when folded and so much lighter and easier to take places.The arrow keys allow me to easily navigate the Android operating system, too, which surprised me. I thought I would miss having a mouse, but so far, I don't.I love this keyboard.It's the only folding keyboard I've found so far that allows a wired connection, as well as bluetooth.But more importantly, it's also the very best bluetooth keyboard I've come across, especially since the folding is so flawless and sturdy.(I say sturdy for an adult who takes care of their electronics. I haven't tried abusing it and would not expect it to hold up to abuse. Some folding electronics are pretty fragile even with careful use, though, and that is not the case with this one.)

Good: fast, feels okay. My brain can believe it's a fast laptop keyboard.Bad: LOUD! Kickstands: you have to manually deploy two little plastic kickstands to make it lie flat on a flat surface - WTF?! I have gotten kind-of used to (ish) doing it in one motion while I open the keyboard, but it still feels really kludgy; I think that is the one thing that most prevents me from bonding with this keyboard; the typing experience is actually fine, and I am somewhat picky about that. No macros, remapping, anything extra/premium; OTOH I wouldn't want them to build a whole software division to support those feature$.Neutral: It is bulky, but that's just a fact of the form factor. I wouldn't want them to waste time trying to make it smaller. Maybe make it quieter first, then do something about the kickstands.Overall it's the best you can get for a folding, technically (for me) pocketable keyboard for a phone. But in 2025 that's not saying much LOL.I think if I were packing this in any kind of bag, I would opt for something non-folding that is much nicer. E.g. Apple, Logitech MX Keys Mini or Microsoft Designer Compact Keyboard. I have zero friction with any of those once I get used to them, and if you don't need the folding feature, they are better in pretty much every way.

Note that all of them were relatively light, portable, and easy to connect. Most were very reasonably priced (some were bought on sale) and USB-C chargeable. They tended to be somewhat flimsily constructed (probably to keep weight and costs down). Ranked from most to least favorite:1. iClever BK05s. Pros: full size keyboard; aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; the only one that had the option to work wired in addition to via Bluetooth. Cons: because of the hinges on the bottom, doesn’t lie absolutely flat, the ends bounce up and down a little; slightly heavier than the other options; no carrying case; trifold instead of bifold (I think the more moving parts, the more likely to break)2. Samsers KF08S. Pros: full size keyboard; good bifold construction; lies flat, even when typing on your lap; carrying case. Cons: spacing between keys might be *too* much for my preference; keys feel a little flimsier than the iClever; space bar is split awkwardly3. ProtoArc XK04. Pros: good bifold construction. Cons: not a full size keyboard, keyboard bows in the middle when typing on lap, so you need a lapdesk or other hard surface.4. Logitech Keys-to-GO 2. Pros: beautiful design and multiple colors, build quality looks good, built in cover. Cons: coin battery only, not rechargeable; not foldable, so though it is very thin, it has a large footprint; more expensive than the other options5. iClever BK03. Pros: aluminum, moderately sturdy construction; similar to above iClever, though does not have a full size keyboard, or wired option, though it does come with a carrying case.6. Samsers (ASIN B0CRL6W6DR). Pros: multiple cute color options. Cons: letter keys are not all the same width, making it tricky to touch type; gap in the fold, creates split keyboard; flimsy feel.7. Logitech Keys-to-go. Pros: attractive design; one piece construction protects keys against minor spills, maybe? Cons: keys are difficult to press down; cannot fold, so same issue as other Logitech8. Geyes. Pros: unique design is clever and sleek, and the only one tested that has a built in phone stand. Cons: keys are very small, too cramped to use for long; build quality seems the worst - the metal edges aren’t finished and can easily scratch your skin; note also the rose colored model isn’t color-matched - one of the panels is metallic rose, the other is more of a salmon color.I can moderately recommend keyboards #1-5, depending on your needs. Do not recommend #6-8.
