This thing MIGHT work for smaller 5-10 gallon aquarium but anything bigger it is useless. I do have a few breeder plastic container that it MIGHT WORK in but my bigger tanks there’s no way. Great concept BUT a waste of money.

I didn’t have super high expectations for this, as I read the reviews first and realized it wasn’t going to produce a ton of heat. However, I still liked the idea and thought I have a couple setups where it could be handy, so I decided to give it a try just to see.I ended up using this by setting it on top of the screen top of my Dubia 3’ x 18” x 12” high enclosure, and it does provide enough supplemental heat (on high) to get my temp on the warm side to 90, combined with an UTH set at 88. This thing is about 6” wide, and I have the whole rest of the screen top covered with 2 layers of foam to keep heat and humidity in. (So it’s got 6” open screen minus what’s covered by the heater, and then the other 30” is covered.) So this works and I do like it, although the fan does dry it out a bit in there so it’s harder to keep the humidity up.My typical setups all have PVC cages with radiant heat panels which I much prefer, but in the case of this enclosure with the screen top, it’s handy and there is no installation required.So it has its uses, but I’m not sure it would even produce enough heat to keep a 10 gallon size tank warm enough for the needs of many reptiles, so just keep in mind you may need another heat source also.

Great for adding a few extra degrees in the cage. Best used with a temp shut off. I didn’t realize it was sitting too far forward and just a little under the dome light. Started to warp just a little, but caught it in time. Just be sure of placement. Great little heater.

We have this on the small new age reptile enclosure and it works great don’t need additional heat it does not however do well on the medium enclosure. Very disappointing with the cost of them to have to buy more items to heat the enclosure for our ball pythons

The fan on the one I received is already dying and making horrible noises as it does so, forcing me to replace it. Even when it worked, it absolutely eliminates humidity in the enclosure so you have to constantly add more. It's worse than anything I think I have ever used *and* it barely provides much heat.I can't recommend a product at this price that fails after just a month and it isn't even very good. What a horrible purchase this was.

Size is perfect for small Cat house.
