Works Great Suede
Guardian Fabric Protector offers several benefits including stain and spill resistance, easier cleaning, and potential cost savings by extending fabric lifespan. Works but is expensive to cover a whole sectional
I needed two cans to fully cover a sectional and ottoman. It seems to be doing its job. My sectional has a lot of pillows but I didn’t need to spray the seats which have it embedded. So although it works, you might need a lot of it. And it does smell.

BUYER BE WARNED... NEEDS SEVERAL CANS to do ordinary job!
I bought 1 can and did not even get through 1 COAT of covering 6 chair seats only!!!! BE WARNED this can does not go nearly as far as you think it will. I would need to buy 3 cans to cover 2 coats as recommended for bottoms only of normal cloth dining chairs! DISAPPOINTED!!! I gave it 3 stars only because I haven't tested how effectively it works yet so I was giving them the benefit of the doubt here.

Excellent Fabric Protection
I recently sprayed two light layers on a 9’x12’ wool rug that I put down a week ago. Today, my big dogs knocked a steel cup of Diet Coke off the coffee table upside down on the rug in front of the sofa. I freaked out! (Sorry, I didn’t get a photo of the spilled soda.) i ran into the kitchen and got a dish towel, put the towel on the soda, and it soaked it up like a dry sponge. There was no stain or evidence of a spill. When I touched the rug, it was dry. It wasn’t even damp. I was amazed at how well Guardsman protected the rug. Highly recommend! It will have an odor after the application of the product, but it has dissipated over the course of the week.

Works Great
It works great. I sprayed the 2 coats my cloth sneakers and it repelled water. My husband, however, only sprayed 1 coat on the couch and it didn't work. Moral is "follow instructions."
