Well made
Very well made product and excellent customer support. I’m newer to woodworking. Still learning. Not great with precision. This sled takes a lot of practice to set up perfectly. It’s me - operator error, not the products fault. And I’m using a trim router rather than a full sized router. Be patient and be precise with your setup. But isn’t that everything with woodworking? Other setups will look easier but they lack the adjustment flexibility this has.

Great Quality
These router templates are perfect for your router table when paired with a flush trim bit—the kind with the bearing at the tip. They’re way too small for handheld routers, so they’re strictly for use on a router table. The holes let you hold them against the wood’s corner while guiding it along the router, with the bearing riding smoothly against the jig’s plastic. It’s a fast and efficient system. Sure, having imperial measurements would be nice, but it’s not a dealbreaker—most of us used coins, paint cans, and tape rolls to mark radii before templates like this existed. They stack well, are made of tough plastic, and should last for decades. What’s not to love!

Well-built sled with good adjustability but setup takes patience
The media could not be loaded. Bought this to flatten some live-edge walnut slabs I’ve been storing in my shop and it’s made the job much more manageable. The aluminum rails are definitely sturdy and stay straight under the weight of my router - no flexing or wobbling during cuts. The height adjustment from 0-5.5 inches covers most slab thicknesses I work with, and the width adjustability from 15.6 to 58 inches means it handles both smaller boards and full-width slabs. The dust collection brush system works well at keeping chips from building up during passes, which helps maintain a clean cut surface. The included router base plate fit my Bosch router perfectly without any modifications needed. Build quality feels solid - the aluminum construction should last for years of regular use. However, initial setup and calibration took longer than expected. Getting the rails perfectly parallel and level requires careful measurement and adjustment. The instruction manual could be more detailed about this process. Once dialed in properly, it produces very smooth, flat surfaces with consistent depth across the entire slab. The dust collection helps but you’ll still want good shop ventilation when doing large slabs. For the price it’s competitive with other router sleds on the market and the adjustability makes it versatile for different project sizes. Definitely beats trying to hand-plane large slabs or paying to have them professionally surfaced. Would recommend for anyone doing regular slab work who wants consistent results.

Adjustable, and Sturdy
I recently incorporated this 58-inch Router Sled Slab Flattening Jig into my woodworking setup, and it has significantly improved my ability to work with live edge slabs and large boards. The construction is impressive—featuring durable metal parts, smooth gliding movement, and a sturdy base that effectively reduces vibration. What stands out most is its adjustable design. It easily adapts to different slab sizes and router bases, and the setup process is straightforward, even for beginners. Once properly adjusted, it provides smooth, even passes with minimal tear-out.

I do not recommend this.
The sliding back and forth are good. The vibration is not good. Easy to assemble and looks nice. The rails are not strong enough for the span, it bows. The vibration causes a bad finish cut. If you want a good flat finish, this is not the best choice. Hardware came with no flat washers. This to me is a bad product. My home made router sled is way better than this. That's about all the good and bad I can say about this product.

Perfect for my DIY carpentry work
Prepare to make a table. The wooden board is already on the way. I'm sure this tool will help me complete the task better. It takes a bit of time to assemble and setup, but comes with good instructions. And it looks very good quality.

Rigid and not too heavy
It is very easy to assemble, the whole product feel rigid but not too heavy. Good for a tool collection.

It works but it has some flaws.
It works but it's pretty tough to get completely squared up. It feels a little unstable at times, like you're fighting it and the router as you move down the slab. If you're not looking to spend a thousand dollars and don't flatten slabs much than this can work. If you're doing it often then I'd spend the extra money for a rail mounted jig.
