If you do a lot of garden work and trimming, then this is the PERFECT tool. It charges easily and quickly, is very easy to use and I like the fact that it has a safety button that must be pressed in order to work. It is a powerful little saw and had no problem cutting through a nuisance tree in my yard that was about 4 inches thick. Remember to order chain oil as it does NOT come with any. I have used this to cut through butterfly bushes with ease. One tip though is to hold the branch you are cutting to prevent excessive vibration of the branch, because you want a clean cut. It’s not the best on thin branches so continue to use a hand trimmer on those. It also is lightweight that it didn’t stress out my wrist when using. I comes in a nice carry case with cloth gloves, a cleaning tool, plastic bottle to hold oil, and two batteries and charger and safety glasses. Everything you need to saw away. I needed this LONG ago. Well worth the price.

Considering the price, this is a good buy. I had a little trouble at first when I noticed the chain was loose and I kept turning the knob to tighten it. One must use the screwdriver and adjust the chain tightening screw. Once I got all of that worked out, things when real well. It does not cut real smooth but overall does a pretty good job. Most chainsaws that take oil, leak. I realized that the saw leaked when I sat it down flat, but when I sat it straight up with battery on bottom, it did not leak. I cut somewhere between 40 to 50 limbs today and when I went to recharge the battery it showed it sill had 4 bars (so I'm assuming the battery lasts a lot time).

Used for the first time today, straight out of the box and got 35 minutes of work out of the 1st battery. (It did show fully charged on the display). I was able to easily make numerous cuts of 3"-5" limbs. The unit is surprisingly strong, but it may also be related to using a brand-new blade. After 35 minutes, the battery test still showed 3.5 lights (the 4th light was slightly dimmed), but after less than 5 more minutes of cutting, the saw stopped working. At that point the battery test showed no lights. I swapped to the second battery to complete my work. 3 hours after finishing, the "dead" battery is showing 3 lights on the test, but I'm not testing it -- just recharging the batteries for my next round of work. The blade tension was good out of the box, but there was about another 3/8" of slack in the chain when I was done. That was easily corrected by loosening the bar wingnut slightly and using the provided Phillips screw driver to readjust the chain tension, then retightening the bar wingnut.I made the mistake of trying to add the lube oil (standard 10w-30) directly to the unit without a funnel and did spill it. Wiped up immediately and the unit functioned without problems. But the oil reservoir is small, so I would recommend filling the provided spare oil container (30ml ???) first, then squeezing it into to reservoir to minimize the spillage.Very happy with this purchase. The unit is lightweight, strong, easy to handle and adjust. If you don't need the extra length of a normal chainsaw for bigger or higher cuts, this is a great tool. The auto-oiler is a must-have as it eliminates having to stop work and manually add oil on the chain and bar track.

Make sure when you use the saw, the chain it tight.

I bought this because I did not want to handle a full sized chain saw and I had numerous small branches to trim. This smaller version of the larger saws did the trick. I was actually quite surprised at how well it cut through even thicker branches; it seemed to do even better on the bigger ones. The battery lasted well over an hour of solid cutting and then I could easily switch to the second battery. I wasn't exactly sure which type of "oil" I was supposed to use, but I found the All Season Bar and Chain Lubricating oil at ACE and it seemed to do the trick just fine. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. Would recommend.

I'm an older woman and this was worth every penny! It's not heavy and it's really easy to use. Initially I was cutting through Privott shrubs (approx. 4" inches around) and it was working great! Then, I had a big limb come down from a tulip poplar that crushed part of my cattle panel fencing that keeps my dogs in the yard. I went to work on it with my new little chainsaw. It handily cut off all the branches, but the main part of the limb was about 8 inches around that was hanging over the top of the fence. After cutting around it enough, it snapped off and I was able to clear it all out of away and repair my fence. Excellent product!

Works exactly as advertised. Comes with 2 fully charged batteries and ready to be used.I’m disabled with mobility issues and had no trouble using it. It was not too heavy or bulky. Can be used one-handed. It cut through a roughly 6-inch log with ease. I imagine anything bigger would be too much. Buy some chain saw oil with it. It does not come with any.

I used this hand saw and cut down multiple tree limbs that were at least 5 inch in diameter. You definitely have to keep the chain while lubricated and after cutting so many large limbs you have to adjust the saw blade, but that is with any chainsaw. The blades that come with it last a really long time. I absolutely love this little handsaw and would recommend for anybody that is in need of something like this. The chain oil does not come with it so you have to get that separate.
