After installing the fresher into the filter I removed the old filter and replaced it with the new filter & fresher also you should pore a cup full of bleach in the system just remove the cap on top that’ll keep your reservoir open so the water goes outside without backing up

Good for about 30 minutes, if you’re lucky. I thought the first time I bought one of these and it only last 30 minutes that perhaps it was a fluke. So I thought I’d give it one more shot. These are absolutely worthless. Definitely not worth it. Save you money and buy a few lotto tickets instead.

Helped With What I Needed
I was gone for 3 wks and my house had the "closed-up" smell so I got this. It was actually too strong for my sensitive nose at first, but mellowed out in a day or two and continued to fade for about 5 days taking care of a 1600 sq ft split level home with one AC unit. Did what I needed it to do for a good price.
