Just received the cord and in all honesty, it does feel sturdy. The wire is threaded but it doesn't feel uber premium. As it should be. It feels great for its price and all four points have a clean, metallic finish to it. The lightning bit fits snug into its port and all 8 pins seem to appear functional. I took a short amperage test and it did provide a decent 12.93 Watts charging capacity. For context, the original lightning cable that came with the phone hit a cool 16.14 Watts. The data transfer speed is great and works really well with my laptop. The USB C bit however is a bit larger than usual and fits tight, but its manageable. I'm also aware that most people face issues post a month or two. I'll try and keep you guys updated. Based solely on first impressions, its a really good product.

I buy this product in 28 Jan but the quality of product is very bad , after 2 months, it’s not working and Portronic comp is not ready to replace it still it is in 6 months warranty condition . I was call and mail to Portronic and Amazon company. But no one ready give proper answer.

This is one of my best charging cable purchases. It also supports fast charging, and its length is very good, helping all car users use it efficiently. A must-buy product.

Update:The cable stopped working (does not charge anymore) unexpectedly after 3 weeks of use. Portronics helpline shared steps for replacement of the cable and the same is on progress. I am removing 2 stars for lack of reliability.Original review:This cable replaces two if not three cables for a user who has combination of C type and lightening points in their devices.The cable is as good as the original Apple cable in terms of whether it slows down charging. Happens with some cables.It’s braided and will likely last long.Looks good as well and with just maybe a USB-C to USB adaptor you can make this even more versatile.Worth a buy. I bought it at a deep discount and it a steal for a Portronics branded cable at that price. Thanks for the next day delivery!

Very useful one, just missing the micro usb output, however not that essential for me. Fast charging doing well, cable is very flexible and soft to bend, easy to roll and organize, just one thing disappointed finishing and presentation isn't like other Portronics cables, I mean all other cable I got those came with a nice velcro strap to tie the rolled cable, but this one isn't.I always dislike one thing, Portronics cables are super built quality and feels like long lasting, but while in use it feels like over good, means the cables are over thick and not smooth/soft to bend, but this one is good.Portronics always gives good stuff in very low and reasonable price, always loving it.*** UPDATE ***Charging Performance is as mentioned in specs. But one thing highly disappoint me was Amazon packaging this time, 1st order came just in a paper envelop, product box was totally compressed and the cable both end head alloy parts were slightly scratched and paint off, so replace it, the replacement came and same thing, even worse and this time one Type c port was bent or tilted. There was no other option than refund in order section, so talked to support and they replaced it again and the 3rd one was in perfect shape.

The build quality is excellent, and it feels very durable. However, I did notice that the lightning cable port is smaller than the Type-C, which means I have to remove my phone cover to plug it into my iPhone. Despite this minor inconvenience, the cable performs well, and I'm very satisfied with its functionality and overall quality.
