Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have owned many many inflators over the years. I rarely write reviews; however, the engineers of this Astro AI (or whatever it is called) did an excellent job. The gauge is accurate and when you set the inflation pressure it reaches the psi (or BAR) of what you set....not a tad below like so may inflators.....this is by far the best features (accuracy of the gauge and precision of the fill. You don't have to do that fill, stop, fill, to get to the correct PSI (btw, this extra work wears out the motor quicker). Highly recommended (wish it were a few bucks cheaper...but, that's life).

I purchased 10 months ago to keep in the car, just in case..... Used 5-6 times with no problem for a little top off. Went to pump up my tire today after I picked up a nail and found that the pump has lost its mind. I set it for 32PSI and it stopped at 20 PSI. Restarted it several times with the same result. Had to set it to 50 PSI just to keep it running long enough to get to 32. Pressure readout while it is running is not correct. Had to stop and keep checking it with a gauge. When I posted about my experience, the seller contacted me and offered to help resolve my disappointment. A replacement unit was sent without hesitation and arrived promptly. I will happily continue to do business with a company that treats its customers this way.

Overall I think this is a very good product that meets my requirements, but I have some concessions and this is an initial review and can't speak to longevity.Pros:** 5x faster than the 5 or so various tire pumps I've had in the past, most of which were more compact and meant for use in cars with lighter plugs. Faster means less likely to overheat, a common problem I had in the past.** Dual function - can pump up (high pressure) tires, soccer balls, basketballs as well as inflate/deflate (high volume) air mattresses, pool inflatables, beach balls, etc** Dual power - can run on standard US wall outlet power, or your car lighter outlet** LCD screen is backlight with good brightness** Auto-Stop at the designated PSI** Cords have decent wrap-up areas to keep the device tidy** It has 4 rubberized feet underneath to reduce vibration noise and have better gripCons** Tire clamp is pretty tough to close, and harder to remove when pumping is complete which can cause more air loss than usual** LCD screen has very poor angle of visibility, so you have to look at it directly** The 5 small green lights under the LCD screen are war-crime levels of brightness, so I'll be covering that up with masking tape to avoid blinding myself** The included nozzles and fuse have no storage clips or anything to hold them, so I'll have to store them elsewhere and not forget where they are (there are 2 clip mounts, but they didn't really seem to fit any of the accessories)I bought this to have a separate pump for the 3 bikes we have and use regularly, so I don't have to get out the car one, and use a lighter-plug to wall plug adapter. This allows my compact car pump to not get worn out and not risk it failing later while out on the road when it's really needed, and the compact ones were somewhat frustratingly slow to pump up tires etc. I also like having a single device for both tires and inflatables, so I can get rid of some redundant devices and clear some storage space. The speed of this was shocking, so much that I was concerned it wasn't accurately reading the pressure (I should confirm with a gauge later...). I wear noise cancelling headphones whenever using these so I can't speak to the noise levels. I also wonder if it would get the same speed when using car lighter outlet power (lower voltage).

Love this air pump! Compact and super easy to use. I had to use it for the first time while at work to put air in my tire. I was able to figure out how to use it without reading the directions. It pumped my tire (20 lbs of air) in under 5 minutes. Display is easy to read too. You must get one for emergencies. Not too expensive and well worth the peace of mind!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pump works great. Ive got an old Chevy s10 i plan to restore. It's got two tires that leak completely down after 3 or 4 days. This pump airs them right back up within minutes. No excessive struggle/heat to add. I love how it comes with the 12V or wall plug cables too. Makes it very versatile.

Easy to use right out of the box. I love the digital display and preset. It's nice that it can use the cars outlet as well as AC current. Only thing is you might need an extension cord for plugging into AC outlet. Also a little detail they left out of the guide, when connecting the hose keep the connector tab straight then flip to secure it.

This is the second one I brought. They worked great. The digital set up is good it saves a lot of guessing.. no need for a pressure gauge.. The 150 psi does not have long air hoses. That’s OK cause I use that one for the garage and can bring my electrical cord to where I need it. My 160 PSI for my car and dirtbike comes with a longer hose. And works out great highly cheeserecommended.

Update to review: as of 6/19/25 customer support is excellent as they are sending me a new unit. I will test the new unit once received. They recommend that the unit be used for no longer than 15 minutes with a 10 minute cool down period. I will use the unit no longer than 10 minutes with a 15 minute cool down period since I will probably be using it mainly in the hot humid weather here in Florida.After 2nd use the unit failed. It sounds like the compressor failed. I was putting air in trailer tire to 80 psi. Started out with air pressure at about 52 psi. When the tire pressure reached 74 psi the compressor failed and will not increase the tire pressure.
