Fantastic product
Used this to energise the electro-magnetic switch in a contactor, which in turn turns on / off a hot air curtain over a door.100% recommend

The media could not be loaded. Pro’s: Easy to fit, well made for the money & looks good when fitted. I’ve fitted this sensor to a kitchen breakfast cupboard so when the doors are opened the LED tape lights illuminate the kettle, toaster and coffe machine… PERFECT!Con’s: none.

Brilliant proximity sensor, perfect for inside cupboards
This MCE135 unit is a proximity sensor, relay and the necessary electronics for one to operate the other, combined into a handy package. That means you can install in inside a cupboard or built in wardrobe: put the sensor just inside the door, facing outwards with its flat face a few mm from the door. Then you wire the lighting circuit into the supply side of the relay, and your light fitting into the load side. You could alternatively put a 13A plug on the end of it. Now every time you open the cupboard the light magically comes on! Fantastic time saver. A bit pricey but highly recommended - I'm buying my third one.
