Lightweight, hands free magnifying glass.
Bought for a 90+ year old to see small embroidery stitches. Great for this, it’s also lightweight so no neck problems. The batteries were a bit fiddly to insert and it’s not the brightest light but no matter. Distortion-free. I was so pleased with this I immediately ordered another for myself. Allows the user to have both hands free. Very pleased.

Absolute bargain
Having auditioned several of these magnifying lights this, the cheapest, was actually the most useful for my needs. I do EPP and it’s small enough to keep in my kit, it’s battery operated but I use rechargables and it’s got a pretty good magnifying lenses with no weird grids like on others and a super strong magnifying area. It’s light around my neck and could be used with its stand . It’s a great little thing .

OKAY- but sadly, not great
Dosent sit on the chest , keeps falling down , dosent matter what kind of top I wear. Battery compartment flimsy and hard to open. The light isn’t great, my phone light works better when threading so bought an extendable phone arm bracket instead to help me thread needles. Magnifying area small and the bottom half of the glass, wish it had of been the top half away from my chest, would have been easier to look through. All in all, I’ve thrown this in the bottom of my sewing basket, it’s not something I’ll probably use again.

Difficult to fit the batteries
As others have said, there are no instructions supplied with this, so you have to guess how any where to fit the batteries. The cover is extremely stiff, and plastic, so there is a real fear of breaking it. But I eventually managed it. However, I would not recommend this as a gift for an elderly or frail user, unless you will be there to fit the batteries.Once in use I’ve found it bright, light and very useful. It’s slightly unstable when worn around the neck but not to any real degree. The magnification is just right, making it very easy to do my cross stitch. I’m sure other crafts would also find it useful. The price is about right as although it’s all plastic it’s reasonably solid and well made. The biggest disappointment was that despite advertising it as guaranteed next day delivery, after accepting the order it was then changed to a later day. Live chat confirmed that they can do this, even when it’s guaranteed and ordered as next day delivery. After the order is placed they review carriers, stock etc and can and do change the day.

Perfect for crocheting
I crochet amigurumi and often use dk acrylic or 4ply cotton yarn for this. It can be really hard to see the stitches at such a small size. I got this magnifying glass to help out, the light is bright and white which is perfect for crocheting, the large magnifier is fabulous and the small larger sighted one is very useful when weaving in ends in a precise afghan or amigurumi project where you need the yarn to be woven only through the stitches of the same colour and there aren't many of them. The magnification is clear and has no warping (except where expected on the small disc of the larger magnifying glass). The adjustable strap is durable and easy to adjust and sits comfortably holding the magnifying glass in place. The kick stand is also great and I've used it when hot gluing, its helped greatly. If you want a stable but cheap magnifier with a stand and strap this is a great product.

One of my best ever purchases!
I have diplopia plus getting older. I do crafts and had knitted a gorgeous red cardigan for winter. Could I see to pick up stitches for the neck band? Not the remotest chance. But with this piece of magic? Job done. I am SO pleased with myself. Though I suspect the fact that I have a bit of a shelf with my just, to rest it on, possibly helps. 😁 no idea what the comments are about the batteries. I had no problems - directions were included. Honestly, this piece is a game changer for me.
