RS232/485/422 to RJ45 Ethernet Converter, TCP/IP to Serial, Modbus Gateway Support, Industrial Isolated Rail-Mount RS232/485/422 Serial Server with POE Function, Multi Communication Modes

Great item, works good but I can't use it because it was made in China and the software is from China.

I needed a Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP converter to go between a small network of PLCs, power meters, and genset controllers.Never could make sense of the instructions: specifically the application program(s) being in Chinese and the specific example for RTU to TCP just plain old didn't work, even after hours of messing with it.I've used a ton of other Waveshare products without any issues at all, but based on my experience and the experience of another user I know in meat-space, anything Waveshare with "to ethernet" in the product description is too difficult to work with when evaluated in terms of my time.YMMV, but I'll stick with other more expensive but *easily* functional solutions.
