I particularly appreciate the little things that are noticed in this fine oak console table:The top edges are planed down, so nice and smooth.The two drawers have a moveable 'wedge' screwed in the rear part of the drawer to keep the whole drawer from someone accidentally pulling out to fall.Though the console table is not entirely solid oak, it is generously plated with 5mm solid oak planking and inside the legs and carcass, filled with a dense and heavy wood of unknown type. Husband thinks it might be sustainable mango wood because the wood is dense. This ensures the console table is reassuringly heavy, and each piece is very well machined.On purchase we had an initial kerfuffle: No screws or instructions were in the (very well taped) carton, so I contacted the seller. A week later came two packs of screws, but no instructions. GRRRRR! However, after my second conversation and email, said instructions arrived.I bought this console table at a slightly lower price to what is presently shown. Not a large increase, but still a bargain. Just one other thing. The description of these pieces of furniture, ie. "London", "Surry" sort of suggests the furniture is made in England. It is not. They are made in Vietnam, but remain VERY HIGH QUALITY and are very good value.An allen key was provided to assemble the console table with the screws and bolts. Altogether it took me 30 minutes. But anyone else with more experience could fit the pieces together in half the time.Our oak console table looks magnificent in our hallway, and has been praised many times by friends. RoselandFurniture is very good value. We also have a fully assembled chest of drawers (2 up, 3 down) and a very heavy and substantial 'Lanner' Oak Large bookcase, also arriving - thankfully - fully assembled.In our lounge the Lanner Oak bookcase has a presence of its own. Stacked with our lovely books it looks great!All told these three excellent pieces of oak furniture look magnificent and are an absolute bargain.

This is perfect behind a door to hold a large lamp matches my other oak furniture perfectly, very easy to put together.

Good looking table and went together well. Of course for the price it is oak laminate in places but you would not guess. It felt slightly rough when I assembled it but a good wax polish had it looking very good indeed. Would recommend it, great price for a nice little hall table.

The quality of this table is really outstanding at this reasonable price.It looks lovely in the hall.

Poorly made bare minimum of oak used in fact the bottom shelf is plyboard the stops on the shelves I've been mounted two far forward which prevents the drawers from going all the way in flush with the unit
