Great product
I purchased this mould to use for cupcakes and on reading other reviews was a little sceptical. The mould IS small but it does give the measurements on the descriptions & images, but this is ideal for cupcake size! I used modelling paste and dusted the mould liberally with cornflower using a small paintbrush and the fairies came out with ease. The edges can be tidied up with a cocktail stick while still soft if necessary. Superb value for money and arrived fairly quickly.

lovely little fairies with a bit of practise....
Some reviews have pointed out how tiny this is...but fairies are tiny!!! I have found that if you compact a little more modelling substance into the mould ,than you would think,then it works better. With practice you become more confident. I wouldn't do the three fairies all at once,individually is better...be careful when removing the legs too....you can tidy up excess bits with a tiny icing prong tool ...

Irregular moulds
I used resin in this mould, it was very easy to turn them out but I found one of the legs on a fairy was not moulded correctly as it only had a short pointy leg.The facial features on all three fairies are barely there not sure what they will paint like and on one of the fairies (the one with the partial leg) there is barely any dept to the mould so her wings are thin compared to the other two

You won't be disappointed.
I think this is an incredible little mould and great value for money.I did find it difficult getting the fairies out in one piece without making them distended. So a few tips:Firstly do one fairy at a time.Lightly oil the mould and always put in the fridge for a few of minutes before removing.For their eyes I used a needle and a small amount of black food colouring just dipping the needle in and then piercing the spot where the eyes are.They are difficult to decorate so if you can use coloured icing carefully into the mould you get great results.Enjoy it it'll be challenging but rewarding too.
