Good quality paint set
This is an excellent set of paints - ideal for a beginner who hasn’t established a colour palette for their work yet. Very good value.

Perfect!
These paints are beautiful! This was my first time using gouache paints and while it took me a little while to adapt to them, once i did they’re my new favourite medium! They do dry fairly quickly, but are also deactivated easily with water, this makes layer paint really easy. They also dry very matte which is something i’ve come to really enjoy. They are very pigmented and mix really nicely to create customs colours, I typically mix on a paper plate and find I can bulk mix a colour, leave it for a couple of days, and activate it with water as when i need it with no obvious change the the consistency or pigmentation. They’re good sized tubes, work well as a starter set, and make it easy to figure out what colours you use most of so you can restock individually as and when needed.Overall really lovely, no issues with the paints or packaging!

Not bad for someone starting out
I purchased this set for my daughter who is just getting into gouache. The photo shows single layer swatches of all the colours included on grey paper. Swatches show that some of the colours are of decent quality, and that the only truly opaque paints were the Cerulean, crimson, and Red Lake. Ochre, Scarlett, Mid-Green and Viridian are alright, but very streaky and patchy in larger pieces. Getting good coverage with the Mauve and Sap Green was a real struggle, those are definitely not favourites. The Pale Green was split but after reintegrating it was alright.Overall, this is not a bad set for someone starting out. Just be aware that the true gouache coverage won’t be achieved with most of these. Having said that, the colours mix beautifully and are good for learning how to mix.

Good Value
Was trying gouache for the first time so didn’t want to spend a lot on a first purchase. The tubes are of a decent size (12ml) with a nice selection of colours, you only need a small squeeze of paint for decent coverage (I was using black watercolour paper) all in all I am pleased with the quality and colours and surprised how easy it is to work with (a lot more forgiving than watercolour 🤣) would definitely buy these again

Bright colours but runny paints.
There are some nice colours for messing about with but the paints are very runny and aren't going to go far. I thought I'd just experiment but will go back to Daler Rowney. These were cheaper and you get what you pay for.
