Didn’t work for us
This item may work for you, but didn’t for us unfortunately. We wanted to tune in terrestrial TV channels on a TV in our summerhouse. The TV is in the window. We plugged the device in and did an auto scan but it found nothing. We put it outside on a set of step ladders, attached to a metal object and did a manual scan. It only found 25 channels, all of which were related to the BBC which meant the device wasn’t strong enough to pick up the full signal. Obviously it’s no good on step ladders outside or only finding a few channels.

super solution rather than trying to hardwire or add a wireless signal from existing aerial
This product worked fantastic for us.We do have an internal main aerial in our loft which two of our tv's pick up via wired connection in the house. However, our bed room tvs and a tv for an outside area do not pick up an aerial connection. This product fixed that. I connected it to an outside tv, started the terrestrial scan and at first it found nothing and I am thinking I have bought a dud. However by the end of the scan it had found 180 channels. All the channels working perfectly well with a good picture. For the cost of this product this is an excellent solution rather than trying to hard wire more tvs from your main aerial or trying to add in a wireless signal to your main aerial.

Worth purchasing! Especially for zombie ammo!
This is the second time I've bought this aerial so I thought I'd write a review and give this little TV companion it's just deserts. When the first one arrived, it came in such a small box it made me think "really?! is that it? I'm glad I'm not a woman buying this!" But I'm here to tell you that size really does not matter! In this day and age when packaging consists of a crate that you have to transport using a trolley (truck if you're from the good ole' US of A) just to receive a micro USB card I was pleased that it came in such a compact and environmentally conscious box!The aerial may be small in stature, but it does pack a whallop! It's got a surprisingly reassuring weight to it. You feel like if you were playing hot potato you'd have to give it a little more effort to fling it than just a small "flick of the wrist".This also goes for each part. It comes in 2 parts, a base that has a decent magnet rather than some that you may find slip off if the dog lets off a whiny bottom burp (We all know it's you, and you're just blaming it on your poor pooch!). Stick it to anything magnetic and it'll stay there, even if your house decides to start crumbling around you (I really must check my foundation!). You'll note from the pictures I have mine stuck on the back of my TV!The second receiver part has a good weight to it also, like it could be loaded into an SLR, and if you bought multiples of these you'd be set for the zombie apocalypse that we all know is coming! Erection is easy! Just give it a "good screw" into the base and you're all set!"So what does it pick up?" you're asking yourselves. Well, if aliens were actually visiting Area 51 in America you'd find out before they even get past the kuiper belt! Seriously, you'd be reaching for the phone to get through the the president, only to be turned down as a conspiracy nut, but we all know the truth!!Well, it may not quite be that sensitive but you'll pick up all your terrestrial and freeview channels as quick as a sailor who comes ashore in Amsterdam (Yes, it's that good!)So yes, I'd recommend this cheap and cheerful, rather phallic looking receiver. Besides, if you don't use it for your TVs, at least you can stock up on the for the apocalypse!Enjoy!

Only works with good reception and facing the right way
Works quite well when the transmitter is not far away and facing the aerial. Put a wall or two in the way and the signal disappears. Luckily I use it in the Works quite well area. Could be better.

Excellent value
Size really does not matter, it’s tiny yet the picture is perfect and it picks up everything.

Indoor TV aerial
I am writing to express my disappointment with the indoor TV aerial I recently purchased. Unfortunately, the product did not meet the expectations or the performance claims described on the product page.I carried out the channel scan twice using my Manhattan T-4 Freeview box, and each time the aerial was only able to receive a single BBC channel. Given the advertised capabilities of the aerial, this performance is highly unsatisfactory.I would like to request a replacement with a more reliable indoor aerial that better meets the described performance standards. Alternatively, please advise on the return and refund process if a suitable replacement is not available.
