Secrets to better extraction.. follow the instructions.
For those having issues with extraction of the polyphenols phytonutrients, it’s best to follow the instructions and utilize alkaline water to open the pours of the bark. Boil it hard and allow the tea to steep 10mins+. Alkaline water will open the bark up for better extraction. Also those complaining of smaller piece do not understand that the smaller portions will have better extracts vs a larger piece. It would be best to grind up the larger bark into smaller pieces for greater surface area of the alkaline water to make contact with and net better overall extraction.

Very good!
Excellent tea! Nice in the way it's chipped too, easier to use.

It’s glowing!
Worked for me! I used tap water and microwaved it for 2 1/2 minutes and steeped for 20. I don’t feel it has much of a flavor or smell. I will use more next time.

No blue hue!
There’s no blue hue even a faint color and $18 for 5 oz is over price in my opinion. I bought once this brand (about 2 years ago) and it’s good but I found other seller with lower price. Ever since I’ve been buying from other seller but last time I bought had the same problem, there’s no blue hue. That’s why I bought this Magiktea again.I admit they put only very clean looking wood chips no junks like other sellers. I wonder what’s happened this time?

It ain't Blue
The media could not be loaded. I don't see any trace of blue, tried to lift the glass filled with supposed magic tea to look in different spots and angles through lights hoping to get even small amount of reflection of blue, but no luck. Not sure if it's 100% blue stick, product came in a small flakes of mixed chip woods. Another bad thing is that the item is not returnable. Hoping Amazon will do something about this product for those consumer that are not satisfied with this product, $16.00 is lot of money to waste a hard earned money for a person like me an stage3 CKD working as handyman tying to find a natural remedy for my condition.
