My husband prefers these claws
We lost our former set in a house fire, and I searched everywhere for this specific set, because of the ergonomics of the hand hold. it is more comfortable than most and the tines don't dig into your fingers. We have had others, and this is the set my husband prefers to use with his smoked pulled meats.

Surprisingly useful
People love to dunk on these things, mostly because you can do more or less the same thing with two big forks. I disagree for two reasons:1) do you actually have two forks this big? I don’t, and I often find dinner size forks both take forever to shred the meat, and tend to bend.2) These let you pretend to be wolverine. Forks don’t.If you make smoked pork shoulder much, these are actually really useful.

Nice and sturdy, but the grip isn’t very good.
These claws OK. If you push down too hard, they press into the skin between your fingers and can be quite uncomfortable. My wife tried to like these, but after several attempts, we are going to get rid of them and try something with different grips. They make great claws for a Wolverine costume, as long as you grind the sharp points down a little bit.
