I had this lock for two and a half years, and must have only used it a dozen or two so times on overnighters, keeping it in a warm and dry place when not needed, however The lock jammed when luckily i was testing it before putting it on the bike and wouldnt open, meaning i had to leave it to prevent the alarm activating in my tail bag when i was riding. I initially posted a negative review which the excellent reapp customer service picked up on and offered to send me a replacement, even after such a long time, mentioning that maybe i should have tried WD40 or similar to try free it up, which was my bad, as the place i stayed at would probaby have had some. Anyway, as for the positives, it's a great size to easily pack away in the handy pouch and comes with a minder cable & although the bolt size is a smaller diameter than some at double the price, it's good enough, as any lock can be removed if the thief has an angle grinder anyway, so all's good with me now as it never let me down except that once.

Works as it should. Good visible deterrent and loud alarm. Carry pouch hasn't been thought out because you have to put in lock position to get it in - which puts the lock in alarm mode 🙄. Apart from that good piece of kit - robust and not too heavy

Bought this for my cousin who had his lasts motorbike stolen. Obviously it was insured and replaced, but that wasn’t the point. It was his pride and joy and he was absolutely devastated that it had been taken, despite the fact he had a lock (which was cut clean off and his bike was caught on ring camera being lifted into a van!). I was hesitant to review this item because it’s hard to know actually how good it is until it’s ‘needed’, but last night this was the case. Some low-lives came and tried to do the same thing to his new bike, but after just seconds of touching it the alarm blared out and he was downstairs and outside calling the police and off they went! He is so delighted with this alarm and is so thankful that it meant his new bike didn’t go the same way as his last. It’s sat out it the wind and the rain with clearly no impact on its performance. He said it’s a great size and weight to allow him to carry it around with him and he thinks it looks slick and is so easy to use. A win for this purchase

Easy to fit , loud alarm. Only problem is not on the insurance companies data base as approved by them . Apart from that does the job as a deterrent.

If I could give it 0 star rating I would avoid at all costs one hit with a brick and it snapped straight in half luckily it was not the only security I had on the bike and I caught them in the act and gave them their brick back,I know it wasn’t expensive but it was just another deterrent but it just snapped very easily if your going to get a disc lock don’t get this one lesson learned

Effective deterrent. Gives warning that it is armed, easy to engage and disengage. Chose this particular disc lock because of the added feature of the alarm.
