Very nice system. I don't know if the 24 volt system is the difference or something in the arms. But these move the gate with ease compared to my prior 12v GTO/Pro 2002XL system. That old system groaned and made straining noise when activated. The TOPENS A8132 are so surprisingly quite, that I added a cheap 24v buzzer just so people would know the arm was moving.Setup was pretty straightforward. Especially since I had a prior system. Instructions are basic, but clear. I'd hoped to use the brackets from the old system, but they were a bit thick for the A8132 arms. The arms have two slots that fit on top and below each bracket. Better design for stability.These keychain remotes have much better range and have a great solid metal feel. Just a short antenna inside the control box, but easily works from three time the range of prior system. FYI, I tried some additional generic branded remotes and couldn't get them to work. So, I'm going to stick with TOPENS remotes and keypad. The base A8132 system isn't compatible with the HomeLink rear view mirrors in many modern cars. I haven't decided to get the add on system yet, but TOPENS does offer one.I've just got it plugged in to 120v power for now, but I'm going to add batteries for backup. The solar system looks good, but I don't need since I have power at the gate. If using batteries, you'll need an additional waterproof box. I'm using the old system's box. But I might get a larger box and put everything inside it (Batteries, power board, and gate opener control board).TOPENS support apparently is based in China. It has an out of country phone number. I haven't called, but their e-mail support is excellent. Responses within 12 hours and very good communication. They seem to really understand the product and questions I had regarding adding that buzzer. They even provided an Amazon link to what I needed.I spent 14 years of struggling with Might Mule and GTO/Pro openers because they fit the original system. Constant source of problems from arms dying to system boards failing. It always seemed easier to get the one more part I needed immediately instead of changing complete system. Now, I'm excited that I finally made the move to a better system.
