Comfortable , works well with glasses and dust mask

As an experience HSE consultant who has purchased/used many items such as this in many different industries worldwide, I can speak highly enough about this product manufactured by JSP. It easily adjustable and is very comfortable. Excellent value for the money and will suit many industries and their employees. For those who wear glasses this product has removed the user from removing them and having to use over glasses which cause eyesight issues.The interchangeability and compatability with other JSP products makes this helmet a superior product for not only the user but also for the employer as purchasing this product will reduce future financial commitments placed on them by only having to buy from one manufacturer for all their PPE needs.

This protective hat makes a lot of sense. Had an old JSP design with eye protection about 13 years ago. Didn't like it and gave it away because the eye shield was too close to the eyes and face. This caused discomfort around the nose and cause poor ventilation around the eyes. Few years ago bought the MSA V-Gard 950 Electricians hat because it was the first hat I found with full face protection where the visor is well away from the eyes and nose. For the extra electrical protection which I did not need the hat was listed at MSA for £120 but could be found slightly cheaper. It did not even have ventilation holes at the top of the hat but there was no other model with this face protection on the market at the time so bought it anyway. For the most part I like the MSA but have had to continually to take it off to wipe away the breath condensation kept forming on the face visor.Hurray, finally this JSP hat is available which covers the eyes, the visor of which is far enough away to provide some ventilation so as not to steam up. There are ventilation holes at the top of this helmet; if you ever worked offshore Darwin during "The Wet" where humidity is always around 100% and temperature above 40 then you would know how important ventilation is. This is also at reasonable price as I don't need electrician's protection. There are slots for inserting ear defenders (which I tend to use instead of chin strap). Recommended.ONe last point - the smoke piece of transparent plastic is not a visor and I couldn't pull it down.

This JSP safety helmet was considerably more expensive than the usual site safety helmet ........but with the built in visor, and the adjustable strap the helmet can be adjusted for a perfect fit.

Great idea to tint front of site hat. And we like the overspecs being attached to it. Did not think the hat was expensive, this hat is ideal for anyone who wears prescription glasses. It is comfortable to wear and is still not heavy with the overspecs attached to it levers not difficult to use, when you put up the overspecs into top of hat. Excellent.

Light weight, perfect visor and looks ok too:)
