This chain does not have any kind of Hallmark. It says absolutely nothing about what the chain is actually made of. Though this chain looks very nice, I have metal allergies and I am not thrilled at all that the company does not disclose what the chain is actually made of. I got conflicting responses from the companies representative that stated there is in fact trace amounts of Nickle AND Copper in the necklace yet the item description states there is NO Nickle or Copper in the necklace. So what is this Semi-Precious metal they use??? Obviously not silver. There is probably NO silver in it. It's too light to be stainless steel. Copper is considered a Semi-Precious metal though they claim they DON'T use that metal (But told me that they actually do.). It's way to light for Titanium, which is a metal I can actually wear.This company has too many "Secrets" about what the chain is made out of and for that, I gave mine away to my spouse who doesn't have the metal allergies that I have. If there is something in the metal that can or may eventually become exposed that I am allergic too, I could get a really bad rash from it.I have no desire to praise a company that offers conflicting information about what the base of the chain is really made out of. I don't think "Trade" secrets should be allowed in jewelry and the FTC is very vague on the guidelines for jewelry manufacturers. That "Secret" might cause someone an allergic reaction. Even if it hasn't happened now...it could happen eventually. Companies like this are more about the bottom line then someones health.So if you have any kind of metal allergies, I would stay FAR away from this company. They hide what the chain is made out of intentionally and personally, I am not OK with that.

The chain looks great when it first arrives! But sadly, if you wear it on a regular basis, its gold luster fades quickly. I bought this to go with an 18k cross my dad gave me in 1984, and the cross looks better after less than a year with this chain. If you wear occasionally, as some of the other chains I’ve bought here, it’s probably fine. But! If you wear it daily, spend the extra money on a real gold chain!

I'm trying to find a 26" 2.5 mm gold rope chain from Lifetime Jewerly. At Christmas time my husband bought me a 24" 3 mm gold chain from your company, it is too large of a chain for me and my charm biel is too small, also I do prefer a little longer chain. Would you possibly consider letting me exchange my 24' 3mm chain for a 26" 2.5mm chain? My husband bought this at Christmas time at a somewhat lower price so that is why I'm asking to exchange this instead of return and then buy a different chain hoping to make a fair exchange with comparable sale prices from that period.I would like to say that the 14k 3mm 14" chain my husband bought me is beautiful and I really love it but it just does not fit with my charm that I have. Otherwise I would wear it and live it! I looked for a 14k chain before Christmas and they were so very expensive. Gold has gone up so much now it's unbelievable!! The chain my husband bought looks as nice (or nicer) than the 14k chain that I had looked at premium stores and other online sites. I couldn't believe the quality of the chain that I received from Lifetime Jewerly, ITS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL AND WE WILL BUY FROM YOU AGAIN!! This chain is giftable and the craftsmanship is above my expectations. I believe that it's sturdyiness will give me years and years of use and I will treasure it as I wear it. I would not hesitate one second to recommend your chains online and to my friends. I'll be more than happy to write a review for my transaction.
