Misleading
The illustration looked good, standard cookies with chocolate chips. The ones I received were much darker in colour, & certainly didn't have that many chocolate chips. Other reviewers have commented about the taste - mine tasted slightly of coffee though that's not listed in the ingredients. One reviewer in 2021 shared a photo, which showed 2 lots of different cookies, some light and dark. Mine were the darker type, and I'd have been far happier with the lighter coloured ones, as with McVities. I consider the ones I got as chocolate chip cookies, but tasting of coffee, with a scattering of chocolate chips, & thus misleading. They ARE edible and definitely not unpleasant, but not what was shown, & therefore expected

However chic chip over powered with biscuit flavour....to look at a choc chip but taste wise though lovely I wouldn't describe as a choc chip cookie... More a biscoti or amoretto time
