Excellent window fan, practical and powerful!
I'm delighted with the Comfort Zone CZ310R. I bought it to improve the ventilation in my room, and it has exceeded my expectations. It has three speeds, which can be perfectly adjusted to suit the day's weather, and the remote control makes everything much more comfortable. What I like most is its reversible function, which allows you to exhaust hot air outside or bring in fresh air from outside, depending on your needs. It's like having two fans in one! Plus, it comes with a removable cover, ideal for protecting it when not in use, and it's very easy to clean. It's quiet on low speeds and moves a good amount of air. It also fits very well in standard windows and stays put. If you're looking for a reliable and multifunctional window fan, this model is an excellent choice.

Great for the summer or fall!
If you're looking for a simple and cost-effective way to cool a room without relying on air conditioning, a dual-blade window fan is a practical solution. Here’s a balanced review based on typical performance and features:Easy Setup: Most models are designed to fit double-hung or sliding windows and come with adjustable panels to create a secure fit. Setup usually takes only a few minutes and doesn’t require tools.Two-Way Airflow: The ability to use the fan for intake or exhaust is a major plus. This helps circulate fresh air from outdoors or remove warm indoor air—especially effective in cooler evenings.Quiet Performance: Even on higher settings, noise levels are generally low, making it a great choice for use during sleep or work.Energy Savings: It’s much more efficient than an air conditioner and ideal for those wanting to reduce electricity use.

A good fan for certain uses
I’ve had this Wi-Fi enabled, 3 speed, reversible fan unit installed now for 7 days in the summer, in a room used as a home office. The unit works as advertised. The Comfort Zone app and my iPhone get along nicely. I have the unit installed in a modern double-hung window. I did not use the bug screen. The window width required that the unit’s expandable panels be pulled out. While the panels pull out easily, they are not as wide (vertically) as the fan portion and thus leave narrow gaps above and below the pulled-out panels which, in some locations, would require use of the bug screen to exclude insects (so far, not yet a problem for me in a usually buggy environment). Also, the panel latches are flimsy and do not hold the panels fully out. I used small wood wedges jammed into the panel tracks to hold them out at the distance needed. As for noise level, the unit makes a notable ‘beep’ when changing speeds/modes and always makes a ‘hum’ sound which, surprisingly, does not change with fan speed; it is just there when the unit is on, loud enough to be noticeable but low enough to be ignored in all but a very quiet environment, such as in a bedroom where I don’t believe I could use this unit due to the constant hum (but its fine in my office). Consistent with the product description at Amazon, the 2 small fans move enough air to affect the room in which the unit is installed but not enough to affect other rooms. This true even if the fans are on all night at high speed. To achieve multi-room cooling, you would a fan which moves lot more air. Bottom line, the noise level and air moving ability are about what one should expect from a small unit while the pull-out panels leave gaps and the panel latches not well designed.

Great portable unit for forcing air in or out from the window
My office becomes a furnace in the summer daytime due to concrete jungle/sun hitting straight onto the wall etc. Open windows don't help because the screen mesh I need to keep tiny mosquitos etc out prevents air from noticeably moving in or out. I have an AC unit on one window that works fine but as soon it switches off the temperature is swiftly rising again.I bought this fan because 1) its 4" profile allows it to sit in my window without removing the screen, and 2) it is not a permanent installation, aaand it works awesome for venting my hot computer air directly outdoors. My office is no longer stuffy and humid with recycling air. It's not silent but it is not any louder than my 20" standing fan.

Great fan, no remote, app doesn't connect
1st, these are great fans. I have one that is remote and not wifi and I love it so I thought I would like the wifi enabled even more. While the fan is still a great quality fan, the setup for wifi was a 2 hour nightmare. And it does not come with a remote as I thought it did. ☹️ I wasted 2 hours trying to connect this to Alexa. No go. After more time wasted researching on internet, I finally stumbled across someone who said to use the Smart Life app instead. Bingo. It connected in about 3 seconds. It is ok but not ideal. With the Smart Life app, you can turn it on and off, and you can change the speeds, all through Alexa. But you cannot change the mode from cooling to exhaust or circulate, with Alexa. You would have to push the buttons manually. This will work for me for now, because I am using it in a bedroom window at night, and I wanted to be able to turn the fan on or off, or up or down, if I woke up in the night and it was too hot or too cool. I'm going to check and see if I can purchase a separate remote that will work with this. Great fan, but just be aware.

Cools the kitchen.
Wow. this is awesome! A while ago I had my roof redone, and the roofer replaced my skylight with a domed one that has been heating my kitchen so much that plates and things in the kitchen actually felt warm to touch. I installed this fan in an upper sash window that is next to & below the skylight and now my kitchen feels cool! I wish I had thought of doing this a year or so ago.

To the rescue!
Just what I needed when my air wasn'tworking. Helped to bring in cool air in earlymorningand after sun went down.Used to circulate air throughout using fan on my furnace to recirculation. Just no need for the screen covers it blocks a lot of the flow of air.
