I bought this shampoo because my hair has been limp and lifeless for months. This shampoo is amazing. The first wash & rinse didn't seem any different than my regular shampoo. So I put more shampoo in my hair and did a second wash & rinse. My wet hair felt noticeably fuller. I used a tiny amount of leave-in conditioner. I dried my hair and used a flat iron to straighten it. My hair is shiny and appears to have double the volume. Worth every dollar I spent on this!!Why did you pick this product vs others?:After lots of online research, this shampoo kept coming up as #1 or #2 on recommendation posts.

The quality of this product is soft like butter, and a little goes a long way! Even a small bottle will last a while since you only use it once or twice a week, regardless of your hair length. With just a tiny amount, it lathers up like magic. This purchase is fantastic; my hair and scalp haven’t felt this healthy and clean since I was a kid! It feels incredibly clean and soft, and I am buying it again. The scent is heavenly! I hadn't realized how much buildup my scalp had accumulated—it's unbelievable and also kinda gross lol … but I will note that I did do a hot oil treatment for 30 minutes before hand just in case the shampoo was too harsh on my scalp and hair. I mean I’m not a hair dresser so I have no idea if that even helped lol, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt. However, the shampoo wasn't harsh at all; it worked wonderfully didn't burn or tingle at least not for me, it worked like any other shampoo except it left my hair squeaky clean, literally! I highly recommend this product for anyone seeking healthier, cleaner hair.

Love it! I used it today for the first time and my hair looks amazing. It's the first time I am using a clarifying shampoo, so I can't really compare it with other clarifying products, but, after using this shampoo once, my hair feels amazing and is super shiny.... even my scalp and roots feel amazing! I have wavy/curly 2C/3A hair and was afraid of using clarifying shampoos, as I thought they would dry my hair, but decided to give it a try because I knew I had a lot of build-up from curly hair products. I thought I would have to deep condition afterwards, but my hair felt so soft, that I only used a regular conditioner for fine to medium hair. My hair is soft and shiny. Will start clarifyng every few washes from now on!

I want to preface this by saying that I have a VERY oily scalp, with normal to coarse hair, slightly wavy, hair that is nearly to my hips.Pros:-gently clarifies and is the best shampoo I’ve found for my scalp issues. I heard great reviews about the Ouai Detox shampoo and was excited to try it. The reviews were right, this shampoo is fantastic! It cleans your scalp, rinses clean and leaves your hair soft and shiny! I use it 3 times per week and have my daughter and two granddaughters using it and they love it as much as I do! I would give this 6 stars if I could and highly recommend this product to anyone as it works on all hair types including processed and colored hair!

Im on my second bottle a little goes a long way. It moisturizing and detoxing . Totally worth the money. . Not sure with how short my hair is if I need a big bottle I hope they keep this small bottle option.

I love this shampoo! I use about once a week or every other week. It helps control my oiliness, dandruff, and roughness. It does NOT have a strong vinegar smell which is great! I highly you encourage you to get the matching conditioner to get you a soft finish.
