What did others pay for this please? (Don’t want to pay over the odds) thank you!
Can this be used during the daytime to monitor sat's and heart rates? I'm mostly wheelchair bound so I won't be doing exercise when wearing it. Thanks
For the oximeter to record overnight do I need to keep the app open and nearby?
What do users think of this for a person with acute respiratory problem low oxygen saturation that needs constant monitoring?

Excellent product, highly recommend

A routine doctor’s appointment showed that my oxygen level was a little low, just by the doctor checking my pulse ox reading while examining me. I was out of town at the time, so didn’t do anything about it. After reading up on it, I decided to buy this device to check my oxygen level while I sleep. I’m so glad I did! I found my 02 level to dip very low in the night, and I’m going to see a pulmonologist soon. I did not think I had sleep apnea, because I don’t snore. I found the Oxylink to be very comfortable and easy to use. I loaded the software from the App Store to my iPad, and I sync the information in the morning when I take the Oxylink off. I now have 7 nights of graphed information about my nighttime oxygen, heart rate and movement. This is important because the overnight oximetry sleep study I’m to have soon (the sleep clinic uses a very similar device) only shows one night, and I’ve found my readings can vary a bit. I plan to take my results from the Oxylink to the pulmonologist. I showed them to my GP, who was quite impressed by the device. I checked the Oxylink against a regular pulse oximeter, and found them to produce very similar results. I’m very glad the company provides these devices, for as a patient you really have to be your own advocate these days. This device can be useful even if you have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and use CPAP, because you can check to see how effective your CPAP is. I want to mention the excellent customer service I received - my item was shipped so that I received it the next day. When I had a question about the software, I got a response back very quickly by email.

Does exactly what it says on the tin

Easy to fit, comfortable to wear, good instructions, (as though you need them), excellent, excellent phone app. Fairly quick to charge and once done, lasts just long enough for two nights. Phone app connects to the sensor without you having to anything other than make sure it's turned on, results downloadable as a PDF, simple to read on any decent phone screen; best bit of kit I've bought in a long while. Not cheap, but yoiu generally get what you pay for. Worth the money for the build quality, comfort, accuracy and ease of use.

Easy to Use/Expensive.

The media could not be loaded. This arrived in a very nicely presented, blue, cube shaped box, that was wrapped in plastic. Opening, inside you get:1. Pulse Oximeter2. USB Charging Cable3. InstructionsThe Oximeter has a rubber, elasticated, finger sleeve to slip your finger into. It’s most probably neoprene. Slipping it over you finger is quite easy and it’s not uncomfortable to wear. The on/off switch is on the side and relatively small. The blue display on the top is very simple, but also quite small. It can show the time + battery level, oxygen + pulse (heart rate) or alarm. When turned on, it’s very quick to take a reading. You can set reminders to let you know when it’s time to take another reading. Handy if you do need to take regular reading for medical reasons. There is access to the free ViHealth App, which pairs to the device via Bluetooth. Pairing is all very simple. The App has a β€œdashboard”, where it records the data reading for the device and displays both the oxygen level and heart rate. Also, there is a PI indicator, which shows whether the meter is in the best place for taking a reading. There is then a β€œHistory” tab, where you can view either of the measurements over a week, month or year. You can look at the data for individual, historic readings, which also shows β€œmotion”. SpO2 and Heart Rate averages can be seen here as well. Within this is the ability to share the information via email, Messaging Apps and many more.I did try to see whether this was one of the devices was supported withing the Samsung Health App, but unfortunately it wasn't.This is a very useful device, particularly with the App, but it is not cheap. Personally, I think this is more for healthcare professionals or people who specifically need to keep track of SpO2 & HR information for medical reasons.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful.

Don’t waste your money

Item very good for the price…only bought to get an accurate oxygen reading for husbands levels with the added benefit of it being stored on phone….…

No thank you.

Build wise it feels very solid and well made. The instructions were very limited though.Result wise this oxymetre is very hit and miss. The readings varied depending upon which finger I had it on - one read a result of 88% and if it had been that low in reality I would have been in hospital! I put it on the next finger and it was imitately jumped to 96%.The heart rate reader part seems fairly accurate. The app isn't the most intuitive to use but I managed to figure it out relatively quickly.I'd give this a miss tbh, the accuracy issues are bad and for the price, I'd want better instructions and a more intuitive app user interface.

Good data, poor band quality on finger version

Very useful item - I have the finger version and I think I would prefer a wrist style as I knock it a lot. I have only given 3 stars as the band has a very narrow piece, presumably to allow some stretch - it is very thin and within 2months this has started to tear which will render the machine useless. It is not tight on my finger so I haven't overstretched it, I have written to the company and will update with their response.29.8.20. If you do have low O2 sats - this has confirmed I have - it has an alarm that is quite insistent when your O2 drops. You can change the threshold for when the alarm is triggered. I can read data on my ipad but never been successful on iphone.

What is this? Waste of money I’m annoyed

I hardly write reviews this is definitely not worth the money it’s not even accurate i compared it to 2 others. The heart monitor is accurate I guess it’s the worse oximeter I’ve ever used don’t buy you’ll get ripped off definitely a Scam

Works as well as the first one

This was a replacement. I dropped the first one and super glue did not fix it. It works and looks just like the first one but was a good dealmcheaper.
