Just a little goes a long way.
The Velcro straps are great heavy duty very durable easy to use the size adjustment is perfect.I’m really surprised that three pounds make a big difference in my walks and my workouts. I thought about going with five pounds but the therapist said three and they work great.I bought these because no sand these have metal shot in them so no leakage no settling.

The weight capacity on this product is great for the size it is it’s quite . The straps are nice and snug it does shift around tho on my leg and collects particles quickly other than that good product for running or weight resistance .

I love these ankle weights, easy to put on and adjust. This is actually my second pair, I started out with 1/2lb and moved up to 1lb. My oncologist told me I needed to do weight baring exercises to combat pre-osteoporosis to strengthen my bones. I wear the weights at work and they are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them, the pads are very soft and molds to my skin. I was thinking of getting some you can add weights to but I can't give up the comfort of these little gems!

OK, but bulky.
These are fine for burning more calories on the treadmill or out walking. The 5-lb. weights are bulky, since it's sand or something similar in each pouch. A solid piece of metal in each pocket would take less room.Ankle weights are great for building up leg strength, and you feel like you're a stronger walker during everyday activities. This set is OK, but could be better. They flop around when you try to get the very long and narrow velcro strip attached. A shorter and wider velcro strip would be an improvement.

Think you Amazon its the right kind of weight. When I get stronger I might increase the weight. Cheap to have I hope the next one is cheap. I ordered a 4lb and they gave me 1lb did they know.
