Love the way the pen writes. As many other reviewers of Sailor fountain pens state, the nib is smooth and writes without skipping. I absolutely love the silver accents. Very classy.Not too enthusiastic about the shiny plastic. It makes it look and feel cheap. The pen is quite light compared to my others pens of similar size. If you prefer a light pen then this is your pen. I prefer a heftier pen in my hands.I ordered the medium nib. This Sailor nib writes in between a European fine and medium. Lays down a beautiful line of ink.My biggest gripe is that it did not come with an ink converter. It only came with two Sailor ink cartridges. There is no way I am going to continue to purchase ink cartridges with the amount of writing I regularly do. Most of the pictures and other reviews I've seen has the pen shipping with both the ink converter and the cartridges. I just ordered the ink converter with Amazon. Wish the seller would have told me the pen does not come with the converter.Overall, am pleased with the pen. This is my first Sailor and the way this thing is writing, I am confident this won't be my only Sailor fountain pen.
