By far the best stevia powder I have ever used - period
Let me start my review by saying that I have been using stevia for about twenty years now and have used lots of different brands, so I may not be the best person to say whether or not someone who never used stevia before would like this. That being said, this is certainly the best stevia I've ever used. Up until now my favorite has been Trader Joe's for their pure powder, and SweetLeaf for liquid drops. There are lots of brands I've tried (Like Whole Foods 365) that just taste artificial, have that pronounced licorice flavor, or are downright bitter. Being happy with my usual brands, the only reason I ordered this was because I'm a member of Amazon Prime and I didn't want to have to make a trip. What a surprise! This is BY FAR the best. It has a fantastic flavor, and it's the only stevia I've ever been able to use where people who aren't used to stevia can't tell I used it. This is fantastic in everything from lemonade to desserts. One note of caution: this is extremely sweet. I have to use about 2/3 of what I typically used from the Trader Joe's pure extract. That being said, even if I accidentally put a little too much, it never, ever gets that bitterness or artificial flavor. It's just incredibly sweet. Somehow this is just purely sweet without any real flavor of its own. I don't understand how it works. It's amazing! It was so remarkably different from other stevia powders that I started playing with it in the kitchen. For example, I found that a little bit added to melted dark chocolate makes it intensely sweet but still dark, and when added to hot tea with just a tiny amount of honey, it tastes like I used way more honey than I did. A minuscule amount added to cut strawberries made them taste like fruit from heaven, enhancing their own natural sweetness. I had to cook for 35 people for an event and made a honey-sweetened lavender lemonade, and I was able to sweeten five gallons with just half a cup of honey and a little bit of stevia powder, which saved me a fortune in honey (since I buy local), and everyone loved it.On another note, whenever I talk to people about stevia I like to take a minute to differentiate between stevioside-based extracts and the more commercial extracts based on rebaudioside (Reb-A, Pure Via, etc.). There is a mountain of research that has been done on the safety - and actual health benefits - of stevioside, which is what Nature's Candy uses. Reb-A, on the other hand, was made as a patent-worthy product by huge corporations trying to exploit the natural foods movement, and is often cut with other flavorings or sweeteners. Some research seems to indicate that it may not be as safe as stevioside-based sweeteners. That's another thing that makes this brand so great. When I first tasted it I double-checked the package to make sure it was the right kind, and it is. This is the pure, natural stevioside extract that has been shown in multiple Japanese studies to help with metabolic disorders, and which has been proven safe time and time again.I don't think the product itself needs any help, I can think of a couple of improvement:- I would really love it if it came in a shaker- It would be a dream if I could find the same quality and taste in a liquid version!- That dream would be even better if there were flavored liquid versions (I love to make my own sodas with sparkling water and flavored stevia, and the liquid versions don't foam as much)In any event, these are just suggestions for making a phenomenal product even more versatile. I rarely write reviews for products unless they are just great or are truly bad, and this is one of those cases where something was so good I just had to review it.

Great Taste! High quality product! No aftertaste
This is the best stevia product I’ve ever tasted and there is no after taste. As other reviewers have stated, a tiny amount is needed for sweetening, so this package will last a very long time. I like it so much that I packaged a sample for one of my friends to try.I just started intermittent fasting about six weeks ago and have transitioned from adding creamer to my coffee to drinking it black. If you are fasting or do intermittent fasting, this product is not supposed to break a fast and it’s been a nice treat to be able to add a tiny pinch of this to my coffee in the morning. One reviewer said that it clumps. I typically put the Stevia in the bottom of my coffee cup and pour the hot coffee over it and stir it and have not had a problem. This morning I added the Stevia after my coffee was poured and it slightly clumped, but if you give it a nice, strong stir, it dissolves.I rarely write a review and as I was adding a small pinch to my coffee this morning and took a sip, it was so good that I thought to write this review and share with others.I’ve been using Stevia products for decades and in my opinion, this is a great product that I definitely recommend to those who are looking for a pure Stevia product without the fillers and chemicals that tastes really good.

UPDATED: Review After 2 Years of Use
This stuff is no joke. Seriously. Look into buying measuring spoons of the smallest caliber (1/8 tsp) to handle this correctly. As a big tea drinker, I had started looking for alternative sweeteners after realizing how much sugar has been going into my system on a daily basis. I tried Truvia because I was curious about Stevia. While it tastes pretty good with tea, the product can become expensive over time. I decided to look into pure Stevia without additives and found this.On the first day that this powder arrived, I wanted to see how potent it was and I foolishly put a quarter teaspoon in my usual pot of tea (which holds about 48 ounces). It was beyond sweet and I had to toss it out. Lesson learned. Do not believe the ratios because I honestly think that the powder is more potent than what the label makes it out to be.After realizing that I may very well end up taking a year or more to finish this bag, I dumped the powder into a more durable container. The picture shows how much has been used in the time span of three months. At the beginning, it was filled to the brim with the powder and I drink one, maybe two pots of tea in a day. To sweeten one entire pot of tea, it takes just 1/8 of a teaspoon (also pictured), which is ridiculously strong.Am I happy with this? Yes. The flavor is not for everyone, though. In the case of tea, this will go well with 'most' teas. One person I showed this to described it as having an 'herbal' type of sweetness to it, to which I agree. While this is indeed a potent sweetener, it will not fool you into thinking it's sugar. I find this is most compatible with things like lemonade, herbal teas, things with fruit, etc. I did not enjoy it with milk-based drinks. Personally, I only see this as something to use for beverages. I have not cared to venture outside that realm. If you would like to experiment, keep in mind is that Stevia is generally not compatible with baking. My brother is a baker himself, and explained that sugar has properties which make it quite unique and necessary for the baking process. For baking, look into alternatives other than this because your options will be limited. There are varieties of sugar which incorporate Stevia in a "baking mix" that reduces overall sugar content.I bought this exclusively to keep sugar out of my daily tea while I'm working and do not mind the different flavor. I actually enjoy it after getting over the initial taste. This works wonderfully for me and I give it a perfect rating for its effectiveness.-----Update - 2 Years. Two years, almost to the day. That's how long 125g has lasted me before running out. My tea drinking calmed down in the intervening time. I normally drink maybe 40 ounces of tea a day instead of an entire pot. Each time, it would require a little less than 1/8 of a teaspoon. Needless to say, I am very pleased with this product. If you get this for personal use, you can count on it lasting for at least a year.
