Better quality than my original one, perfect fit and no more air being sucked into my pump. Should last a long time. Highly recommend.

I was not sure is these would fit my Hayward pumps (you never know) but I ordered one and when it worked I ordered a second. They are both in use now and the suction is holding so I am happy that they fit and work.I only wish they had paired the O-ring with them at purchase time as that would have saved me some steps and time.

Old lid was cracked and leaked, this fit perfectly and feels to be made of thick material (and the price was right), but after 1.5 years it cracked in the top and leaks. Won't order another one of these, the previous lid lasted many many years, this isn't worth it.

Bought two of these to replaced my 20 year old lids. One for main pump and the other for the waterfall. The old lids were working just fine but could not see thru them due to years of sun damage. Decided to give these Non-Hayward brand a try since they are half the cost of genuine Hayward. They look and feel like the original lids and not cheap knock offs. The only issue I encountered was on the waterfall pump. I have always just hand tighten these lids and would use the tool to remove them when cleaning the basket. When I installed the new lid on the waterfall pump, hand tight, I was not able to use the tool to remove the lid because it lines up with the outlet pipe. I remember reading same issue in a review. The new lid for the main pump work just fine, no issues. I then compared the threading of the old lid with new lid and there is a difference were the threads start with relation to the lid handle for the tool. So I switch the 2 new lids and no change. Conclusion: The threading on the pump housing can very in the manufacturing process. Hayward understood this and "smartly" designed their lids to place the thread start point so that you would always be able to fit the lid removal tool. If the aftermarket lid would have match the original thread design then it would not be a problem. I still gave it 4 stars because of price and it works on my main pump and even though I can not fully tighten the waterfall lid it does not leak while running (surprisingly). Only time it leaks is when I turn it off and it spits water from the back pressure. Keeping my old lids just in case.

This lid fits my pump filter perfectly. However, the wrong o-ring was shipped with it. When I contacted the manufacturer about this, the only real suggestion they gave was to try it anyway. Because the o-ring is too large, the seal isn't perfect, and I still have to prime my pump with water about once a week. I will eventually go somewhere and purchase an o-ring of the correct size, but I shouldn't have to. Three stars because the lid fits well. But seriously, the o-ring should fit way better.
