The search for protein
So I’ve had gastric sleeve and regained weight. I’ve been using a small dose of Mounjaro to get my weight back down and just rejump start my surgery. Since starting it i literally can’t eat or drink anything. A few sips of water and I feel extremely full. So I've had a VERY hard time getting enough to eat let alone protein. I also have an aversion to milks and protein powder. Like, I smell it and I wanna puke or taste it and gag. I drink the premier protein drinks usually but every once in a while I get a chunky one and then cannot drink them again. (Texture issues suck) I’ve tried so many protein bars and shakes and I get one bite or one sip and noooope. So I found the protein2O clear drinks (great taste but too much to drink for me for only 20 grams) and realized there’s a clear protein! Say whaaa okay so deep dive into that but find an unflavored powder and brought here. I’ve had so many experiences of being excited and then throwing up, so I was hesitant. The smell reminds me of just a carton of plain milk. No real scent per se, but that’s my best description. The directions say 1 scoop for 8 oz but I started with half a scoop in my cottage cheese and yogurt. (Since my bowl is already small, no way a whole scoop would combine into that!) and it mixed well. I do think I will try mixing just the cottage cheese with the powder and then add the yogurt as it took away the sweetness of my cherry yogurt. It didn’t change the flavor of it or anything it just diluted the flavor and added a more milk-y taste to it. Not too bad. I made it through the whole bowl and didn’t seem to have a texture issue of it being gritty or anything like that. Which could have just been my choice of cottage cheese covering the texture, but it worked. I can’t say it’s unflavored though. Like I said it gives off a milk taste. Nothing like a regular protein powder or drink though. I’m not a fan of milk so it’s still not something I’m like “yay wahoo put it in everything.!” But for now no gritty texture in my cottage cheese so that’s a great start! I might work up to adding it to other things but we will see. I don’t think it’s a good thing to mix with sweet things though like I said it diluted the favor of my cherry yogurt so just think about the things your mixing it with. Value wise 16 servings is stated on the bag compared to the 16 pack of premier protein shakes, it’s a bit cheaper than the premier protein. Not by much, but is comparable and more on the affordable side of protein for sure. It has no other fluff or frills though like the premier protein with vitamins. it’s just protein. Do with that what you will.

Perfect Solution
I have found most protein powders to be far too sweet, and I don't always want the same flavored protein drinks. I also want to keep my carbs low. I found ISOPURE Unsweeted, Unflavored protein powder to be the perfect solution. I can flavor it any way I desire and can get my carbs from an apple or berries, or skip the fruit completely and instead have a pure protein drink flavored with vanilla extract and stevia or cocoa and stevia. I've been using it for years and highly recommend it if you have similar desires.

Blends well and can go in almost anything!
I love this protein!!! I tried so many different proteins searching for one that wasn’t sweet, blended well, and tasted good. Well I finally decided to try this with no flavor and it’s the best!!! I can barely taste it, only 100 calories for 25 grams. I put it in my flavored water, yogurt, or fruit smoothie. It’s just perfect for me!

Not in coffee!
First try in a mug of hot coffee. DO NOT DO THAT! It floated on top in a mass. So, you get to chew your coffee. I'll try it in other things. But this first try is an absolute fail.

My favorite
I've tried so many different protein powders but Isopure is my fave. I love the flavorless. It mixes in so easy with my smoothies. I put it in pancakes, oatmeal, and quiche. It does not mix well with coffee but that's ok.

Works great, would recommend
Finally found a flavorless protein powder I can add to my drinks/food to supplement my protein intake. I had bariatric surgery Nov '24 so I need to supplement protein where I can. This makes it a lot easier. I added it to my water shaker bottle and couldn't even tell it was there. Does leave a bit of a residue after use, but nothing that is difficult to clean.

Disappointed is not meant for hot beverages
Very disappointed the way it mix with hot beverages it clumps up. I tried waiting for it to cool out and for some reason it clump up. I’m very disappointed with this product.

Fantastic protein powder, it's the only one I can tolerate!
Listen, am I a picky eater? Maybe, maybe I am. Do I get funny about texture? Sure. BUT MOST PROTEIN POWDERS ARE AWFUL. Objectively. They taste powdery, are gritty, and just... ugh. This is the ONE protein powder I've found from 3-4 that I've tried that is AMAZING. I have no issues with this.Yeah it makes my milk taste a liiiiitle protein-powder like but its nothing compared to other powders. I mix it with chocolate milk and then use a small electric whisk to get all the clumps out.Tips: It's best to do a little bit of a scoop, stir, then put more in, stir, etc. Also, I find it best to do it in room temp milk, or leave the glass out for awhile. I normally get milk out from the freezer, mix the chocolate powder & protein powder, and then leave it out for 1-2 hours before drinking.I'm also lactose intolerant I think (not 100% sure but I avoid regular milk anyways) and this didn't give me any issues.
