Complete Tractor 1701-2203 Hydraulic Filter Compatible with/Replacement for Case/International Harvester 384, 444, B414 3044368R93 Tractors

Could not find the exact hydraulic filter for my 424 IH tractor. The filter is correct but I had to replace the metal tube to the larger diameter.

I bought this for my international 444, I also have a 424 they both use the same suction style filter under the seat on the drivers right side. The diameter of the metal housing is correct for the o-ring seal and fits tight in the tractors housing. But the tube on the new filter is is considerably smaller than the original. You could possibly use a soft line that is smaller on one side than the other too connect the two different size tubes. I think (going from memory) the tractor is 3/4” pipe and this one is 1/2” pipe. It could work, but it would take modification of some type. I have even considered cutting off the existing tube from this filter and welding a new tube onto it. It could still be a much cheaper option than buying an OEM filter at $240. My rating is because the claim was that this is a replacement for my tractor. Again, it could work, but it will need modification of some type for the hydraulic fluid supply line to reconnect.

So the filter looks close but the tube size is completely wrong and will require modification to make it work. The filter cannot be swapped over either so either buy it somewhere else or be ready to modify it.

International harvester b414d tractor was dropping haybine replaced hydraulic filter and works great . You wouldn’t believe price dealer wanted for OEM

Not even close to OEM specs. Tube for OE filter is one inch, the one I received is .813. Waste of time and money.

The tube size are smaller than the original part, it do not fit in place.

La partie du filtreurs est indentique c est parfait, important ne sourtout pas oublier de commandes le joint de type "O" ring il est pas inclut avec le filtre, le point qui est différent c est au niveau du tuyau le diamètre est plus petit que celui d origines mais il s installe très bien parreil juste a serré plus le collet et c est réglé.
