This speaker from Portronics is excellent for its form factor and price range.Pros:1. Portronics engineers have perfectly tuned the passive radiator inside a metal body, which results in very good bass, much higher than similar sized speakers without passive radiators. The bass is even better than some speakers with inadequately tuned passive radiators.It produces so much bass that at full volume, it moves on its own despite the rubber grip on which it rests.2. At 10 watts RMS power, this speaker is loud enough for small rooms.3. Frequency response is good.4. Unlike many other Bluetooth speakers, the in-built microphone is actually usable. On calls, the other person has no issues in hearing my voice.5. The body and looks are rugged.6. With a 2000 mAh battery, it runs for several hours at medium volume.7. In such a small form factor, you get 2x 5w speakers and a passive radiator, which is excellent.8. The speaker is splash proof.9. Customer care is very responsive.Cons:1. Bluetooth range is a little bit lesser, but is not a deal breaker.

Button is made out of plastic. There is a rubber mat at bottom for good grip.At bottom(in a very odd position) there are 4 buttons to control, 1 power switch, 1 usb come aux port, 1 SD slot and 1 MIC is given.You'll not get a dedicated AUX port.• Battery:You'll get enough juice(battery) out of the box. So, you can directly use without any worry.Battery last around 3 hours.For charging you can use any 5V charger.There is a dedicated charging Indicator(Orange).• Sound:I'm really impressed by the sound.Let me clear one thing. If you want very loud sound, you won't get that.At high vol. there is noise. o, be aware of that.About the BASS. BASS is decent. Not great or bad.• Call Test:Yes, unlike other budget speakers, you can answer a call from this. A notification tone is there for incoming calls.You can hear the call properly. This purchase really changed my perspective towards bluetooth speakers. I own several bluetooth speakers and every speaker, though well researched before purchase, came with some or the other flaw. This speaker's manufacturer seemed to have listened to the grievances of all the bluetooth lovers and attempted to produce a package which fulfils those on a tight budget. Please note, I purchased it for Rs. 800 (including sale and payment discounts); so my opinions may be slightly biased, considering the sub-1000 INR price bracket.It's going to a long one, so strap on and chug along!1. Loudness: (5/5) Obviously, it's a 10W speaker. So the sheer amount of wattage is itself enough to beat its competitors in terms of raw decibels. The only 10W speaker which can beat this one in terms of loudness is POR 871. (And yes! POR 871 beats P10 wash with a significant recognizable margin!) Almost every other speaker within sub-2000 INR bracket fares lower.2. Bass Production: (5/5) Punchy. Significantly more than any JBL, Logitech, Sony or Philips in the sub-3000 INR category; only beaten by POR 871. The bass radiator just mesmerizes me with its thump. However, I would have loved it more if it had two bass radiators; one on each side. That would have made the bass production more "symmetrical".3. Mids and Highs: (4/5) Mid-Freq and High-Freq production can be graded as "very good" from my side. Obviously, JBL, Sony and Philips kill in this segment. If your music is instrument rich (eg. metal or psychedelic), at very high volumes, the main drivers (speakers) start to resonate with its own bass and takes a toll on the sound quality. Please note: This DOES NOT happen at lower volumes OR when the music is less rich in instruments (like rock,pop or classical).4. Sound Quality: (4.9/5) In terms of quality, I haven't encountered anything better than JBL. But, this is ALMOST close to the JBL-level of perfection.5. Battery Life: (5/5) Just wow. A 2000mAh battery quenches the thirst of this beast for a whooping 5 hour music-mania at 75% volume. Takes 2 hours to charge completely.6. Ruggedness: (4/5) The brand claims it to be shock-res, water-res and dust-res, but is only rated for water resistance (IPX5). Still, even having having an IPX5 rated water-resistance is a significant leap ahead of its competitors.7. Value for Money:(1000000/5) If you are ABLE to purchase it at a sub-1000 INR price, then there is just NOTHING which can beat this one in terms of VFM. JUST THE BEST AT THIS PRICE POINT. (I know the seller is notoriously changing the price every now and then).

Received a fully damaged outer packing of the product. But coming to the product its feels really good and heavy to hold it, the fit and finish is rugged. The speaker is literally a “chota packet bada dhamaka” the sound is really loud and the bass is also at a better side. Below 70% volume sound feels too low that’s the only thing I have noticed as a con, apart from that in this price range I would say one of the best speakers you’ll find.PS: I got it for ₹374.5/-
