The quality is exceptional! Overall install is actually pretty straight forward. You need ALOT of patience and elbow grease to properly remove the factory trim off your OEM wheel without damaging it. The rest is pretty easy.Ensure you disconnect the negative battery terminal so you do not activate the airbag. BUY A TRIM REMOVAL KIT with this wheel! That will ensure you remove the trim without scratching it and you don’t brake off the plastic tabs that hold the trim and buttons in place. I used mostly flat head screw drivers and ended up snapping off a couple tabs underneath. The remaining tabs and adhesive I used did a more than good enough job at holding the trim and buttons in place. I used my own trim adhesive to aid in installing the hardware on the new wheel.The feel of the car is more sport oriented. This wheel matches the black interior with red stitching really well. The red stitching on the wheel is a brighter red, but everyone that’s looked at it says it looks like it’s meant for the car. And it is. It changes the personality of your ride and it’s worth every penny if you drive your Miata regularly

Easily installed on 2017 RF. Great quality, looks amazing! Much needed diameter increase over stock wheel and the swells are all in the right spots. The red stitching is not an exact match for the red stitching in the car but is close. The leather is soft and grippy so take care of it.

I have had this product installed for a little more than 24 hours now and I am loving it. It is the best upgrade I have made to my vehicle so far. I should have done it much earlier. I guess time will tell, but the quality seems great. The leather steering wheel Look and Feels Awesome!! I won't lie, the installation took me quite a bit more than the 1 - 2 hours people reported...but the install was a success. The installation tips and instructions on the forums were key to my successful installation.

I am absolutely impressed with the speed of this order when I knew where it was coming from. I’m even more impressed with the quality of this steering wheel and can not wait to install it in my 30th AE MX-5 when it arrives.*****UPDATED*****I’ve enjoyed this wheel now for almost 5,000 miles on my 30AE. It was fairly simple to install, just took a lot of time to perfect the “dead straight/center” and trust that it was the first time it was locked down (I second guessed myself, and then found myself pulling the wheel off 5 times to get it back to where it was to begin with).You won’t go wrong with this wheel. I just wish they had a better stitch color to choose from (grey, black or even ORANGE).

Awesome steering wheel. If you enjoy driving your MX-5 with the stock steering wheel you will now love driving it with this steering wheel. Very comfortable. Only draw back is price. However, it is a beautiful steering wheel

Looks and feels great in my Mx-5. There are several you tube videos available to assist you on the install. It is a direct replacement that reuses you trim pieces and air bag. Having a trim removal tool, small screw driver and 21 mm socket wrench is all I needed to complete the job. It took about 3 hours- I didn’t want to break any of the trim on my steering wheel. You essentially wiggle and pull the tabs of the trim pieces strait out. They are shaped like a small blunted arrowheads.

Good product, no issues, but wish the overall diameter of the steering wheel was a bit smaller.

The material feels awesome and it looks very upscale. I immediately waxed the carbon fiber so that it pops as much as possible.

Not an inexpensive wheel, but worth the money. The thickness alone makes it worth it. The OEM wheel was one of my pet peeves on the MX 5 and this solved it. Installation was pretty easy and no, the airbag did not detonate in my face. There are some decent videos on YouTube that walk you through the steps. Both the perforated leather and the carbon trim are top notch. Very happy with this purchase.

I am VERY impressed by the speedy delivery and communication despite the distance.The product is very good initial quality and took only 20 minutes to install.Well worth the change. Completely upgrades the feeling while driving and that slight flat spot does make a difference for ingress / egress.
