The dots are to small.
I purchased these cards for my brother who is blind on one eye and can only see shadows in his other eyes. He said the cards are a bright white, and he could make out the shapes of the suits. He could count some of the numbers with his fingers but not figure out the dots for the suits because they all ran together. He hasn’t picked his fingers for two years now , but having done do for over forty years, his fingers are quite smooth and he couldn’t distinguish between the small dots. He loves playing cribbage. The cards help him maintain some independence, but those who play cribbage with him still shuffle, count and peg for him. He said they were easy to hold because they are larger and plastic.

Best braille cards after 3 tries
My husband is blind and loves to play cards. We ordered from 3 other companies that specialize in handicap/blind games and cards. all 23 were miserable failures. The braille dots ran together so he could not read them well then the ones that were just OK the dots wore down quickly. We are very happy!

Great for solitaire, wish dots larger
Need to have bigger dots for card playing. Too small and requires too much time to read when playing with others

Made well and priced right
The Braille on these cards is easy to read, and the cards are made of good material. I suspect they will last longer than my old ones did. The print is still easy for my sighted friends to read. Best of all, the pricing is fair.

Fun to play
This item is fun to use. I play these with my grandchildren. So glad to be able to play cards with them again.

Brailled incorrectly
These cards or not Brailled right. There are no number signs so the numbers one through nine look like a-through i. They did not space between the number and the suit. For example, nine of spades looks like the word is. An x is used 10. They did not use the correct Arabic number for 10; X is the Roman numerals for 10. Roman numerals are not used on playing cards. As a life Long, braille user and a former teacher of braille, this set of cards is confusing for children who are learning braille, because they need to learn it correctly. I figured this out, but don’t like getting things that are not Brailled correctly. Whoever is brailling these cards needs to learn the real braille. I am sending them back because it’s very annoying to have something that is not brailled right. You would not have something in print written incorrectly like this. I have seen cards from other companies that are brailed correctly. This review was written by my wife who is the person sending these cards back.

Cards are fantastic
The cards are a great quality! They are clear to see and the braille feels solid (I don’t read braille I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas ). The only problem I have is that it got absolutely smashed in shipping. So if they can work on better shipping that would be great! The box it came in is now useless. So now I got to find a new way to store these… so much for that…
