Nintendo Remote Plus, Luigi - Nintendo Wii

It works perfectly fine, actually better than all of my other Wii remotes except for two that operate at the same level. However, it doesn’t come with the Wii Remote Jacket like the pictures show so make sure to buy one or find an extra if you have them.

This is a well made Wii controller that will work on both the Wii and Wii U. As far as configuration, size, etc. it is just like any other standard Wii controller. If you want the true classic Nintendo feel, these controllers are the way to go.The little speaker on the controller works well and sounds fine. The battery power is just like any other Wii controller. You will get many hours of play out of it before needing to swap out batteries. The sensitivity of the tilt control is good. It is fun to use when driving in Mario Cart.But, lets face it. I am a sucker for Nintendo branded character. The controller looks great and it is branded with everybody's favorite little brother, Luigi. That is why I bought the controller. It was so I could leave it out next to the Wii U and have it be a display piece while I am not using it. It looks far better than the white or black Wii controllers. I also bought the Mario version of this controller.So functionally, this is just like any other Wii controller but the branding made it something I had to have.

You already know what you're getting here, it's a Wiimote plus with a Luigi appearance. Out of all the special edition WiiMotes that Nintendo released this is probably my favorite combination of colors, I also own a Mario WiiMote plus as well but Luigi is the coolest looking of the 2, other than that it works as it should and since it works as it should I see no reason to give this any lower than 5 stars, I see too many reviews on Amazon that take off stars for an item not doing something that it was never originally intended to do, it's as if people don't read descriptions of items before they buy them or the people don't know what they're supposed to be buying.

This was suppose to be a great present for my Autistic grandson. It was an old Nintendo remote. He collects them all; but wanted to access one he missed. When it came, we took it out the "original box supposedly"; it was dirty and full of corrosion. They didn't bother to check. It was gross. I had to clean everything with alcohol and Q-tips. I changed the batteries. Thank God it worked for him. I was shocked and quite irritated. After all it was a Christmas present and should have looked new. He didn't understand why it looked so bad. He was very happy it lit up.

meant to be used with batteries only. You'll pay more for rechargeable batteries which won't work either since the cover blocks connecting with a rechargeable dock.

Remote was in a good condition. There were a few scratches but that’s to be expected. The d-pad on the other hand feels very clicky and little inconsistent. The d-pad still works but something just felt off. Everything else was good though.

Works great, be careful when attaching a nun-chuck, it glitches out for a minute and if you get too active it will cut out the nun-chuck and your game will pause. But if you don't use it with a nun-chuck it is perfect. And it's Luigi, what could be better!? :D
