I think they’re great. They’re light years better than the ones you’ll find at Hobby Lobby. They are very sturdy and they come with plenty of silicone sleeves for the clips which are much easier to work with than the rubber sleeves and they don’t deteriorate as fast. I really like these clips. The bases are great too. The stands fit into the bases very snugly so they don’t travel when they’re standing up.

I love this clip stand, the covers for the alligator clips are great. I can have lots of miniatures being painted at once in a neat, tidy way! The clips lock into the base so it doesn't jiggle around which is a wonderful touch.

This is a must have if anyone is building plastic model kits that has a lot of parts needed to be painted, but don't have enough hands to hold them to get the job done. The base is very handy to put painted items to be dried before moving on to the next assembly.

It all depends on what you need to clamp with these , but I expect many of you want to clamp and paint small plastic bits that you then need to stick in the base to dry.To that end , as they are made of industry standard alligator clip ends , the sharp toothy alligator ends , even with the plastic tips, isn’t the sort of thing you want digging into your new paint job as you put new colors layer on your figures let’s say.Easy fix. Before you put the soft plastic tips on, get the rotary tool with a grinding iron other rough disc attached out , and at a medium speed grind down the alligator teeth to a smooth surface. Then attach the plastic tips.The mod meann no sharp pressure points and a more even application of clamping force. And slightly less force as the gap between jaws is now effectively maybe 1 mm larger so less spring tension.

Package was delivered with no issues or damages. There is some assemble required in getting the rubber sleeves onto the clips, but that’s about as involved as that gets. The clip sticks actually click into their holes to remain rigid, otherwise they’re loose. The sticks feel very durable and the base doesn’t feel like it’s going to break from falling off a table. For the price that I paid for this, this was a great buy.The only thing the bugs me is that there’s not really any storage, outside of the packaging, for the extra sticks to be stored in. The clip stick feel easy to lose if you’re not paying attention.

Great for model building and painting small parts. Being able to add and remove clips is great for painting a part and then placing it in the stand for drying.
