I’ve been using the standard 6-quart model for years, and finally got this 7-quart model with the timer. Makes my day! I can turn it on, and then take off for hours without worrying about it. I suppose I use it 2-3 times per week (sometimes less)!

Great crockpot I love it

Very good crock pot and does what it is supposed to do. I picked it for the cord storage but missed that the lid doesn't lock down for portability. Handles get hot and just a small area to protect the hand. Use potholder.

I replaced an earlier Hamilton Beach crock pot with this one. Never mind that the Hamilton Beach has a locking top. It simply didn't do the job. Uneven heating? Lighter weight pot? Who knows what the problem was. The Crock pot model is heavy duty and built for cooking. I had an earlier yet crock pot which was great except the handles fell apart. The handles on my new model are a different design and look more durable. I shouldn't have paused at the Hamilton Beach way station, I guess. Live and learn.

Awesome replacement for our very wore out crock pot that we have had for many years. Our old one started to shut off randomly, so we never knew how long it was off but with this new one we no longer have to worry about that issue. Now we can cook again without worry that it will shut off randomly.
