Great for wiring! Neat, professional, reliable, can connections when used with six sided hexagonal Iwiss crimper. Product description not accurate. Should read “For 24 to 10 awg wires” Colors listed incorrectly. Should read: ”yellow, orange,white,red,black,blue,gray, & green”. Plastic box ferrules are in doesn’t keep ferrules compartmentalized properly during shipping and transport. I keep mine in the zip lock bag it was delivered in just in case it opens. Another fact that wasn’t addressed by prod desc or other reviewers is that these can be used on solid wire as well as stranded-(when wiring a terminal block, if one wire was solid and rest were stranded, even though solid wouldn’t require a ferrule, it looks better when they all have ferrules). Tip - I printed the picture supplied in this review and used clear packing tape to adhere it to the top of the plastic case.

I personally find using ferrules on the wires make working with the wires much easier to work with. Warning: you will need a tool to crimp them onto your wires. Not included in this kit. So if you don't own or have access to a ferrule crimping tool, I would suggest purchasing a kit with crimping included.

Not sure why they do it but the new printer had solder on the wires going into the screw blocks for the heated bad, power input and hot end. Solder under pressure cold flows and will loosen so you are not supposed to do that. So the ends were cut off the wires and these installed.

These make lovely little tiny holes in polymer clay. Having them on hand, and so many, so if I misplace or lose them it's not tragic is just great. They are affordable and in a great little case. I will be using these for years!

I purchased this exact kit before, but with the crimping tool. Used almost all the ferrules so needed to order more. Crimping tool still works perfectly. This kit is a great deal and a must have if you do a lot of machine wiring, as I do.

good for the money

As an electrician I have seen these kits go for as much as $700. These are just as good as those at a much, much cheaper price. I will be buying more.
