Did the job I needed them for. great price.

Not only are these great locks but if you are putting in a lot of them, as I do building homes, the price is great and they come in 'contractor' boxes so there is no extra consumer retail packaging to open - and we all know that's both frustrating and time consuming as well as not environmentally friendly.

I buy these from Amazon because they come in contractor packaging instead of frustrating to open, excessively packaged and environmentally unfriendly retail packaging. I use them in all the houses I build because of the value here.

These were dummy locks with NO lock devices. Just a know to open closet doors. They look great!!

This handle doesn't match any other handle

Was simple to install and works great for my indoor closet. Design and color matches well and looks great.

Expensive for a door knob but we’ve already installed them in 80% of the rest of the house so might as well continue the trend.

** Update Feb 7The locking mechanism on the door knob has become jammed. The door knob works fine, but you cant rotate the button to the locked or unlocked position. This was installed on a back door that is used maybe a few times a week and so it is not like the doorknob saw a lot of use since it was installed. I am downgrading the rating and reiterating that this door knob is not worth the price. I will now need to look for another door knob to replace it.*** Original reviewI have installed a lot of door knobs and deadbolts through the years. The Kwikset 94002-864 Cove Keyed Entry Knob was easily the most finicky installation I have experienced. There are a lot of parts that you may or may not use and the instructions are not clear. If the installation results in the key needing to be inserted upside down, you are out of luck, there is no way to change that. So my deadbolt requires the key with the teeth oriented down, but this doorknob requires the teeth to be oriented up which is just annoying. While it is great to be able to use the smartkey to key the locks together, I dont recommend this doorknob.

It’s a great product. It now has been 4 months on my inside garage door that has high traffic and zero issues. I gave it only 4 stars as I found that the 2 mounting bolts were short which made it more difficult to assemble. It’s the design and obviously not a flaw with the one I received. But it’s definately a great door knob.

Exactly as described. I purchased it with an alternate door latch and it all fit and installed perfectly. I have it 4 put of 5 stars as the handle was partially scratched up when we unboxed it.

It was quite easy to install. My door was pre-drilled so that was easy. Extra hardware included to meet your installation needs.

I used this as two dummy knobs on a set of bi-folding closet doors. Doing that met making some modifications to the knob. It all worked out nicely for me.
