I bought this because I like to have a single cup of coffee when I get home from work. K-cups deliver weak brew for my taste and are quite wasteful, so with this I can add a little more grounds and it comes out just the way I like it! Then I take the compostable filter and grounds and add it all to my garden! Win Win! Plus its SUPER cute and makes it kinda fun.Follow the instructions and you're golden.

First impressions- the wife loved it. Not only is it cute, but surprisingly well made. The wife uses this daily for her afternoon cup.It comes with several filters of mediocre quality. Do yourself a favor and get decent cone filters.Cleans up easily.

If you only need to brew one cup of coffee at a time, this is a great little device. It's cute and actually looks decorative sitting on your counter. Or, it's small enough to fit in most cabinets if you prefer to keep things uncluttered.I've never seen the attraction of a Keurig machine. You either use pods, which are expensive and wasteful, or the reusable little filter you fill with your own coffee and clean out each time (which seems like a hassle and, according to reviews, doesn't always work well). This Pour Over brewer is a more economical and ecologically friendly alternative for single-cup brewing.You may have to experiment a little to get your perfect cup of coffee. If you like a strong brew, try a finer grind and make sure to pour the hot (near boiling) water over the grinds quite slowly. If you like a milder brew, a regular or coarse grind will probably work better.The whole unit is dishwasher safe, but also very easy to hand wash. The grounds and filter can be composted if you have a garden. This is a great coffee making option for anyone with a small space, college student, apartment dweller, or if there's only one coffee drinker in the house and a drip machine isn't needed.

The mug is even a fun abstract shape when not in context with the top part and nice to hold. No complaints!
