I started taking the NOW Foods Magtein Magnesium L-Threonate because I wanted to support my focus and reduce brain fog. After a couple of weeks of consistent use, I genuinely noticed clearer thinking and more mental stamina throughout the day. It also helped me sleep better at night without making me groggy in the morning, which was a huge bonus I didn’t expect. No stomach discomfort either, unlike some other magnesium supplements I’ve tried.This supplement is now part of my daily routine. I started taking this along with omega 3/6/9 for the cognitive benefits, to help naturally treat my otherwise treatment-resistant ADHD. I ran out of this for a little while, and was taking just the omega supplement, and only then did I realize that it was really this magnesium that was doing all the heavy lifting. I'm able to speak much more eloquently, I don't have words at the tip of my tongue, I don't lose track of tasks, and I don't get embarrassed at work by my neurodiversity like I used to.And I didn't realize how much it helped my sleep!! I'm a big night owl, and I used to stay up late, and even going to bed at 2 or 3 am I'd still struggle to fall asleep. I’m honestly astonished by how much this helps my mental health. It is quite literally a life saver for me; I am so grateful for this product. I’ve struggled with mental health and tried various psych meds for years before deciding to try to find more natural solutions for my anxiety and depression, as I was tired of prescription med side effects. Therapy has never worked for me, as I seem to just have persistent generalized anxiety and depression, no matter how wonderful my life is at the time. I tried a lot of different vitamins/supplements, but this is the only one that has a noticeable effect for me. I started to do more research, and found out that a large portion of the population unknowingly has a magnesium deficiency, and that a lot of healthcare workers are unfortunately unaware that regular blood tests for magnesium are extremely unreliable.A lot of people swear by magnesium glycinate, but that one didn’t seem to make a difference for some reason (potentially because this is supposedly the only form of magnesium that crosses the blood brain barrier?) So if you’ve tried glycinate before and it didn’t help, give l-threonate a try! It’s like night and day for me, and I noticed a huge difference within a couple of days.I’ve been taking it for probably around 8-9 months now, I just take one or two per day as needed. Sometimes I skip a day, but if I accidentally skip 2-3 days, my mental health starts to deteriorate again pretty quickly. No side effects so far that I’ve noticed. I also feel like Now is a decently reliable, reputable, and safe brand, especially since it can sometimes be dangerous ordering supplements/vitamins online.

I've suffered from tinnitus due to tmjd for a few years now. It's caused me difficulty to get to sleep and stay asleep. This magtein has changed my life! It helps me not only get to sleep but stay asleep. Magtein has replaced my muscle relaxer and melatonin! Also, I have been taking omeprazole for over 20 years, but no one told me Proton pump inhibitors depleted magnesium! If your taking omeprazole you need a magnesium supplement!!! I've only used this brand and it's been great for me!!!

I take this magnesium Threonate for ocular migraines. Works extremely well. Research all the magnesium’s. NOW products were recommended by my physician. Very clean, no fillers.
