Update: My original review was completely wrong. It will fit if the hearth if flush. This sat in my garage for 5 years. Now I get to install it and order another for the other side! Whent it was time to install I read the instructions which said before installing to remeasure to insure these would fit. I remeasured and the opening fit into the parameters specified. I removed the doors from the packaging and began the installation only to find that with the configuration of my fireplace opening these won't fit. The floor to my fireplace is flush with the hearth. These doors require a drop from the floor of the fireplace so that they overhang slightly. I am left with doors I can't use and I destroyed enough of the packaging that I cannot return them. Be certain they will work for you before ordering.The doors seemed to be pretty well built, especiallyfor the price. The screens are rigid doors not the sliding kind. I would have liked them a lot had they worked for me.

The Pleasant Hearth doors arrived promptly, and I was even more pleased with the product than the picture. The doors are sleek and modern, and they slotted into our fireplace perfectly. We were concerned that they would jut too far over the hearth when open, but the doors open widely and can lay back against the bricks on either side of the fireplace. 100% happy with the purchase and the product!

Looks great, quality construction and was great solution to our fireplace remodeling problem. Only reason i didn't give it 5 stars was I had to use the alternative method in the instructions for the top mounting bracket. This was because after re-facing my fireplace with a metal stud/durarock wall covered with tile, my littel bar was too deep. The alternative method can be used to secure the top but you loose about an 1/8" of the minimum vertical opening height. I made this work but it required grinding down some of the cement I used to go around the raw opening

Installing the fire screen was a challenge, although probably no fault of the installer (me) or manufacturer. Prior to ordering I ensured that the measurements of the fire place met the manufacturers criteria. The fire place is 47 years old and the leading edge of the metal plate across the top of the fireplace opening was not flush with the face of the fire place, as depicted by manufacturers drawing. It set back approximately one inch, making the attaching brackets impossible to use as intended. However, will careful bending and fitting I made them work. Everything else was fine and the fire screen looks great.

The product looks great and was easy to install once I put it back together. When we took it out of the box the door screws were not in place and the doors fell off. Once the doors were back in position we installed on the fireplace and went in place fairly easy.I made a few adjustments and it looks great. One area of concern is that the glass was not installed correctly and the door edges in the center hit each other. I tried to adjust the glass, but it appears the glass fasteners are either rivets or just completely striped out.So there you have it. Semi-good quality. Fit and finish is mediocre. Install easy once the product is put back together.

Very easy to install, Does not permanently damage the fireplace in anyway yet looks original. It is a very good value for the money. We don't use our gas log insert fireplace so we wanted this to make it look better and help keep down any draft.

In our recently purchased condo, the fireplace was unsightly. Our contractor installed these fireplace doors and it is now a beautiful and classy looking fireplace. Well constructed and easy to install

Great Addition to the decor of our home!

Great product even I ended up returning it. It's my mistake that I got the wrong measure. It is very heavy and looks really nice. Got 2 sets of doors where the outer set of door is glass ( heavy glass ) and the inside door is wire so you can still see the inside. Every thing in one so there is nothing you need to put together. You do need a helper if you are not big enough to move a 50Lb by yourself. It took me around 15 minutes to unpack and put it against the fireplace. If I did the measure right that will be another 5 minutes to lock it down and done. :)

Didn't fit

Beware the dimensions in description are wrong (and you must pay cost of the return despite being Prime). Rip-off!
