Compact Catan Carrying Case by Citadel Black - Fits Catan 5th Edition and 5-6 Player Extension, Hard Plastic Traveling Case with Shake-Proof and Quick Setup Design

Love the case, but gave it a 4 because they claim it holds the extension pack and it does....sort of. They could easily laser cut some additional spaces in the blue, so it's not a balancing act to get the case closed. Once it's closed, it is a nice compact way to take when traveling or to a friend's house.

First off, this does not come with the expansion! When this case does show up when you search Amazon for the expansion so I thought it was both. My mistake.But I am pleased with the case anyway. It does take a little figuring out how to for all the game parts and the expansion parts in the case. It didn't come with instructions or a diagram, but everything does fit! And it's super handy.

The case is great if you are not using an extension pack. However, I bought it because I wanted to keep the extension pack with the main game. We had to cut the blue part to be able to hold all the cards.

It fits the standard catan as well as the 6 person extension, but only once you cut the foam in the container for the cards. Without cutting the foam only ~60% of the cards will fit in the case. Everything else fits well

A lot of the holes in the cushion are the exact shape of the Catan items, which is great in theory, but it doesn't provide a tab or space to get these items out. It's a pain getting things out of the case. There also isn't a spot for the boarder pieces.

Didn't fit all of the expansion kit, had to cut the foam a bit.

I should've taken the lack of Development cards in the photos and seeing the brown / green pieces laying in the case in random fashion as a warning that the claim is FALSE on fitting a 5-6 player expansion properly. All this case needed to be was a couple inches more in length and width with foam cutouts for the Development cards. If you desire to include the 5-6 player expansion, this case is a fail.

When I saw this product and read the description, I thought "Cool, it will take care of the game with a more compact way, now I can get rid of the box" However, once it arrived home (in Chile, so it took some time), I realize that the size is not quiet acurate: As you can see in the picture, the resources cards doesn't fit correctly, I had some cards outside of the asigned space, same story with the bonus cards (longest road , etc) and also with the wooden pieces.Ofcourse if you put protectors to the cards more cards will not fit, making the case uselessSadly I can not recomend it.
