When preparing a steak for the grill, brush a little olive oil across the top, sprinkle a few pinches of this salt, and pepper. The salt comes in small flakes that disolve in the olive oil, permeating the meat and leaving the pepper laying on top. I noticed a difference in the taste of the steak. Salt is either too much or too little but this salt isn't overbearing so you can salt generously without worrying about oversalting. Great Find!

If you’ve ever been on the edge about buying a nicer salt, don’t hesitate a minute longer! It’s great for finishing on steaks, or atop a chocolate chip cookie. Buttered bread with honey? Put a sprinkle of salt on there fella! You’ll be happy you did. It’s a nice texture having these bigger crystals of salt, and makes things you’ve cooked look beautiful and like they came from a high end kitchen. I will buy this again the minute I get close to finishing.

The Maldon Smoked Sea Salt tastes fantastic! Rich, smoky, and a great addition to everything. I’ve really enjoyed using it in my cooking.That said, I was disappointed with how it arrived. When I opened my Amazon box, the salt box was just tossed in there without any protective wrapping. As a result, the box was slightly crushed/dented/deformed and didn’t feel as premium as the product deserves.If I were the company, I’d definitely invest a little more in packaging to ensure the product arrives in better shape. I’d STILL buy it again, but I hope they improve the packaging!

Nice salt, tastes great and I like the large chunks with can be crushed with the fingers. Never had any salt like this before. The only issue is the price, pretty dang spendy for such a small amount. Health is more important though so for now, I will keep paying the high price.I recommend uou stay away from kosher salt, always go for sea salt, it is much healthier.

What can I say, these are flakes of high quality salt, they enhance any flavor by just using a pinch. They are different from coarse and fine salt in that they are truly individual flakes of salt, so far I’ve used it on chocolate, caramel, grilled chicken and steak and it’s turned out delicious
