No regrets
This is my third Anker headphone purchase (Life 3i, AeroFit 1 and now these) and each has been an enormous improvement over the last ones, which have all been very well-loved. I also own a pair of Shokz Openfit Airs, AfterShockz bone conduction headphones, and a couple knock off brands of open ear headphones. For clarity I will only compare these to the AeroFit 1’s and the Shockz Openfits.1) Weight: One of my favorite things about my Shockz is how light they are, and this pair matches that quite well. The 1’s would start to annoy my ears after a while due to their weight. I can’t even tell that these 2’s are on.2) Fit: The 2’s fit is amazing and the ability to adjust them makes all the difference. The 1’s were a bit bulky and would fall off if I needed to adjust my hair around my ears, and a drop onto rocks last weekend pretty much gave the right one a death knell. I love the Shockz’ fit. The 2’s are comparable to the Shockz. They aren’t budging. I also sleep with headphones, and these were very comfortable when I was on my side.3) Battery life and quick charge are great. The 1’s battery life was what made them win over the Shokz, even though I had liked the Shockz’ fit and weight more. I listen to stuff in the background a lot, so everything gets a lot of use. The six-hour life of the Shockz just wasn’t enough, and they would die even if they weren’t being used. The 1’s would be the energizer battery and just keep going, I would often get a good day and a half out of them before needing to charge. These arrived yesterday afternoon at 80% charge and 20 hours later I only had to charge them for thirty minutes to have them at 100%.4) Cost: I got these on sale for $100 and that seems to be a good price point for great quality and features but not going to break the bank.5) Sound: The 1’s could be a bit tinny, these produce a nice, rich sound similar to the higher-cost Shokz.6) Controls: The app makes all the difference in functionality for me. Being able to change how many taps to play/pause puts Anker leaps and bounds above Shockz.

These earbuds are loud and sound great.
I bought these earbuds as I don't like having earbuds inside my ear canals. Playing at loud volumes can damage your ears, which I've seen from many people.I like these as they sit on the outside of your ears as you can hear your surroundings and allows air to keep your ears cool without it being warm, sweat or itchy. The controls are sensitive, but responds great. You can customize them in the app. The design is great though sometimes, my left ear, tends to feel a little discomfort if you don't have it in the proper position. They're light, but not as light or soft as the Shokz Open Fit one or two.For the value, they're great to own. The price is worth it. The ear buds can get loud at lower volume. There is great bass for open ear buds but don't expect them to be like ear buds that go inside your ears. I can walk around the library or listen to them in a quiet room, and people honestly don't hear what I'm listening to, like Metal and Hard Rock. Unless you turn it all the way up, which I don't recommend, as people will listen and higher volumes close to 100%, will damage your hearing. There is some noise-cancelling when you make or take calls. However, there is no wind cancellation. It blocks out loud noise like animals, people, music in the background and vehicles, but not the wind. Lots of wind will pick up in the mics and the people you're talking to, will easily hear it. My friend gets annoyed when I'm driving or talking outside on a windy day, he ends up telling me, to either call him at home or in a quiet place, or he'll hang up. So I wish Soundcore will fix the problem with firmware or make a new one which will block the wind. The ear buds and case have a long battery life, but that's based on how high you listen to them. The higher the volume, the more battery it consumes. The case can easily fit inside your pocket. You can recharge them either through a wire or wireless. You can adjust the sound in the app. They give you many presets as well as you can toggle the settings on your own.Recently, Soundcore upgraded them using firmware to include translation. So when someone is talking to you in their language, it'll translate to the app.The ear buds are a little big. I hope in the next version, they'll make it smaller, lighter and softer on the ear hooks. But again, for $99, this is a great set of ear buds. Easy to put on, Easy controls, loud at low volume, is what I got. I would recommend them for people looking for a budget set of ear buds.

Right bud going bad??
So I waited till I used these for a while before writing a review. It's only been about a month of ownership. So first things first, these are absolutely amazing for what it is. And people actually have to look at these for what it is. An open ear earbud. They sound amazing and can get really loud. My only gripe is that the right bud in my unit, I noticed started to not be as loud as the left. I don't use them roughly or anything, just normal use. But I noticed the right is definitely starting to not be as loud as the left. I've tried reaching out to the manufacturer just to see if it's a problem they can address or look into before this review but to no avail. I definitely will be sending these back. I don't want to become jaded to soundcore just because of this one experience, so I'll just keep an open mind and send these back.Update** So I after a few back and forth with the company and them replacing the bad unit, The new unit definitely sounds better. Very loud and clear too. Once again, people need to understand exactly what these type of ear phones are. They are really great for what they are suppose to be. Well done.
